<br />declaring an emergency. It was moved by i"Ir. Limpert, seeond_ed by Mr. Mangani, that
<br />the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was

<br />Mr. Oviatt advised that it would be wise if Council would decide which newspaper
<br />is to be used for the publication of bids. TY~.is matter was turned over to the
<br />Legislative Committee for advisement.
<br />Mrs. Nicholas stated that she had receivee:l a numbea of inquiries regarding zoning
<br />on Brookpark next to the Shopping Center and that she will try to obtain more info:rrratl_on
<br />on this matter from the Planning Co;Tmiissi_on and other sources and report back to
<br />Council at a 3_ater date .
<br />Nlr. MacDonald requested that all council members wlio could attend the Planning
<br />Commission Meeting, February 9th at 8:00 P.M.
<br />N1r. MacDonald requested that the Legislative Committee and the Streets, Sidewalks,
<br />Sewers, and Ditches Committee look into the matter of the possibility of developers
<br />posting a bond for the restoration of praperty after work on ditches is completed
<br />and also the safety featuteti of ditches.
