<br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED,

<br />JUNE 25, 1959 - 8:2o P.M.
<br />Present were Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Ralph A. Hazelton, President of
<br />Council, Eddie iiixson, Wm. H. Kramer, Mary Alice Lynch, Bruce MacDonald,
<br />Francis J. O'Neill, and James T. Nilson.
<br />Also present were Lloyd :~'. Barnes, Service Director, and E. M. Christman,
<br />Clerk.
<br />Absent: T. J. Raleigh, Safety Director; C. J. Oviatt, Solicitor; Alex
<br />Kanareff, Engineer, and Alice Dobbins Rhine, Treasurer; Evelyn ~-:inkel.
<br />This meeting; was held with Mr. D. Baxter, and NIr. T. Gaskell, representa-
<br />tives of Hayden, Miller and Company, who gave a repot as Fiscal Agents
<br />for the City of North Olmsted for sewer bond issues, beinging the Council
<br />up to date on the matter.
<br />It was moved by Mr. ~~lilson, seconded by N.r. MacDonald, that the statutory
<br />provisisions, Rule 43, and Rule 41 of the Rules of Council be suspended.
<br />"Yeas" Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Tdeill, Wilson.
<br />Resolution No. 2866 was introduced by Mr. Hixson. A resolution determining
<br />to submit to the Electors of the City of North Olmsted, Ghio, the question
<br />of issuing bonds for the purpose of paying a part of the cost of constructing
<br />a sewage treatment plant and sanitary sewers. It was moved by Tir. T?ix son,
<br />seconded by Mr. MacDonald, that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its
<br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Hixson,
<br />Kramer, Lynch, T~acDonald, O'Neill, w'ilson. Thereupon the resolution was
<br />read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative
<br />vote thereon was as follows; iiixson, Kramer, Lynch, P~~acDonald, O'Neill,
<br />1~dilson.
<br />It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mr. Hixson, that the statutory
<br />provisions, Rule 43, and Rule 41 of the mules of Council be suspended.

<br />Ordinance No. 2867 was introduced by Mr. Iv"acDonald. An ordinance establish-
<br />ing rates to be charged for the services of the Municipal Sanitary Sewage
<br />System Utility of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. It was moved by Mr.
<br />MacDonald, seconded by Nir. iiixson, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read immediately and second and third times and put
<br />on its passage. The aff=i.rmative vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, C'Neill, ',Wilson. thereupon, the ordinance
<br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirma-
<br />tive vote thereon was as follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald,
<br />O'Neill, ';:'ikon.
<br />It was moved by Nir. O'Neill, seconded by Mrs Lynch, that the statutory
<br />provisions, Rule 43, and Rule 41 of the Rules of Council be suspended.

<br />Resolution No. 2868 was introduced by Mrs. Lynch. A resolution to ado=pt
<br />plans; proposing to cooperate; requesting the Director to proceed with
<br />the improvement of Rt. 252 in the City of North Olmsted. It was moved
<br />by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, that the statutory rule be sus-
<br />pended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, Iv~acDona7_d, O'Neill, 6Wilson. Thereupon the resolution
<br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the afrirma-
<br />tive vote thereon was as follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'iveill,
<br />Wilson.
