., <br /> <br />B O A R D O F C O N T R O L <br />MAYOR'S REPORT <br />195$ <br />Safety Department - Building Department - Continued <br />Page 4, <br />Resolution No. 2695, passed May 28, 1958, made the County Plat Books <br />available to the public at the City Hall. <br />Ordinance No. 2746, passed September 16, 1958, raised permit and inspection <br />fees. <br />Mimeograph forms, relating to garage construction, electrical requirements, <br />Building Department procedure and many other ordinances that the Building <br />Department found to be of more than average concern to the general public <br />were made available and furnished free of charge. <br />In addition to the purchase of a tractor with back hoe and front end loader <br />for the Service Department and an ambulance and two police cars for the <br />Safety Department, the following contracts were awarded during the year 1958' <br />3/8/58 Pure Oil Lubricating Oil & Gasoline; <br />3/$/5$ Standard Oil Fuel Oil for Diesel Engines; <br />3/25/58 Northern Ohio Paving Resurfacing of Various City Roads; <br />4/12/58 Perry Slag 1500 Ton of Various Sizes of Slag; <br />5/7/58 Horvitz Company 300 Ton of T-35-C Asph:alL; <br />5/~-8/58 Collaricci Const. Sidewalks - Gessner ~ Lucille; <br />7/16/58 Moe Lavinsky Collection of Salvageable Waste; <br />7/23/5$ Slavin Uniform Uniforms for Bus OpE-rate:rs; <br />11/3/58 Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.Ti~es & Tubes for Motor ~j~hicles <br /> (City Equipment). <br /> <br />M I S C ELL ~. N E 0 TJ S <br />Resurfacing of Lorain Road and Dover Center Road - North Olmsted's share <br />being $38,895.00 and $21,14$.64, respectively. The paving of Decker Road <br />was completed and sidewalks were installed on Gessner P.oad and Lucille <br />Drive. <br />The following streets were accepted for dedication: <br />Olmsted Drive <br />Westchester Drive <br />LeBern Drive <br />West 230th <br />West 232nd <br />Mildred <br />Careylane <br />Allandale <br />Test borings were made which enabled the CitJ to have G rECO~°d of :he ea~~'~ <br />strata, and 14 acres were purchased from the Metropolitan Pack Board fo:° <br />the site of a future sewerage treatment plant. <br />
