<br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED T~ETING OF THE COUNCIL
<br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO - 8:15 P.M.
<br />Present were Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Ralph A. Hazelton, President of Council,
<br />James Hinkel, Eddie Hixson, Wm. H. Kramer, Mary Alice Lynch, Bruce MacDonald,
<br />Francis O~Neill, Lloyd E. Barnes, Service Director.
<br />Also present were E. M. Christman, Clerk, C. J. Oviatt, Solicitor.
<br />James Wilson, Alice Dobbins, Treasurer, and Carl F. Haettich, Safety Director
<br />were absent.
<br />The mayor advised that the improvement of Lorain Road had been approved
<br />by the U. S. Department of Roads and the State Highway Director.
<br />Ordinance No. 2726 was introduced by Mr. Hinson. An Ordinance for the
<br />improvement of S.R. CUY. 10-(0.00-5.98), the Cleveland-Oberlin Road, known
<br />locally as Lorain Road, by removing the existing asphaltic concrete where
<br />necessary, removing existing brick on the approach to traffic lights,.
<br />and replace with asphaltic concrete. Resurface from curb to curb with
<br />asphaltic concrete on that part of the designated route which lies within
<br />the corporate limits of the~City of North Olmsted. It was moved by
<br />Mr. Hinson, seconded by Mr. O~Neill, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put
<br />on its passage. The affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel,
<br />Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O1Nei11. Thereupon the ordinance was
<br />read the second and third times and put on its passage and the affirmative
<br />vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, P~a,cDonald,
<br />O~Neill.
<br />Ordinance No. 2716 was given its third reading. It was moved by Mr. Hinkel,
<br />seconded by Mr. O~Neill, that the ordinance be adopted as read. "Yeas"
<br />Hinkel, Hinson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, 0-Neill.
<br />Ordinance No. 2727, was introduced by Mr. MacDonald. An Ordinance determing
<br />to proceed with the election upon the proposed issue of bonds for paying the
<br />property owners' portion and the City's portion of the cost of constructing
<br />a municipal sanitary sewerage eoll.ection and. disposal system. Tt was moved
<br />by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote thereon was as follows:
<br />Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald O~Neill. Thereupon the ordinance
<br />was read the second and third times and put on its passage and the
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hinson, Kramer, Lynch,
<br />MacDonald, O~Neill.
<br />Resolution No. 2728 was introduced by Mr. Hinkel. A resolution transferring
<br />funds. ($l~80.00 - Andy Muranko). Tt was moved by Mr. Hinkel, seconded
<br />by Mr. MacDonald, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hinson, Kramer,
<br />Lynch, MacDonald, O~Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and
<br />third times and put on its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as
<br />follows: Hinkel, Hinson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, 01Nei11.
<br />Resolution No. 2729 was introduced by Mr. MacDonald. A resolution authorizing
<br />the Service Director to repair sidewalks. It was moved by Mr. MacDonald,
<br />seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hinson,
<br />Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O~Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage and the affirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hinson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O~Neill.
