JANUARY 21 - PAGE 2. <br />In moving the homes at the Shopping Center, the construction workers are <br />parking their cars along the berm;, and the Safety Committee is to study the <br />problem. ~ ; ~ ,~ r~ <br />Mr. Hazelton made the following appointments of the Rules of Council Committee: <br />Mr. Wilson, Chairman <br />Mr. MacDonald, Co-Chairman <br />Mr. Hixson <br />and rescommended the use of the Legislative Manual which is used by the City <br />of Cleveland, and requested a report frogs this Committee by the second meeting <br />in February, if possible. <br />The Mayor administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Ralph H. Parker, as a member <br />of the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />Mr. Hinkel reported he had received complaints in regards to two ditches <br />in between the two sidewalks at Burns & Butternut Ridge Roads, and that the <br />corner of Burns for about 20 ft. is completely covered by water when it rains. <br />The Engineer is to check this. <br />Ordinance No. 2619 was given its second reading at this meeting, and could <br />not be passed because of the lack of a quorum. <br />Resolution No. 2620 was introduced by Mr. Hinkel. A resolution of sympathy <br />to the family of Gt~y L. Hansel. It was moved by Mr. Hinkel, seconded by <br />Mr. O'Nei11 that the resolution be adopted as read. "Yeas" Hinkel, Hixson, <br />Lynch, O'Neill, Wilson. <br />It was moved by Mr. O'Nei.ll, seconded by Mr. Wilson, that the absent members <br />of Council, Mr. Kramer, and Mr. MacDonald be excused.
