<br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED I~TING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO
<br />Present were Dr. Lewis, Mayor; Robert L. Decker, President of Council; L. H.
<br />Baker, Harry M. Crider, Adm.. H. Kramer, Bruce MacDonald, Ralph G. Neubauer,
<br />Geo. Porter III, G. H. Schwenk, and James F. Votava, Safety-Service Director.
<br />Also present were F. G. Kitson, Solicitor, and E. NI. Christman, Clerk.
<br />Ordinance No. 2594 - An ordinance to amend Articles XI and XII of Ordinance
<br />No. 21E1i.5, passed March 19th, 1957, entitled "An ordinance dividing the City
<br />of North Olmsted, Ohio, into districts for the purpose of regulating and
<br />restricting the location of buildings and other structures and of premises
<br />to be used for trade, industry, residence or other specified uses; regulating
<br />and limiting the height of buildings and other structures, regulating the
<br />bulk and loc~~tion of buildings and other structures, the percentage of lot
<br />occupancy, set back building lines and the area of yards, courts and other
<br />open spaces; providing for a method of administration; for an administrative
<br />board; and for the imposition of penalties for violation". The ordinance
<br />was read for the third time, and a Public Hearing was held as advertised.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Crider that Ordinance No. 2594
<br />be adopted as read. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Porter,
<br />Schwenk.
<br />Ordinance No. 2612 was in~roduced by Mr. Baker. An ordinance to appropriate
<br />property for site and access to proposed sewage treatment plant. It was
<br />moved by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. MacDonald, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />Baker, Crider, Kramer, i~iacDonald, Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk. Thereupon, the
<br />ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and
<br />the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Kramer, MacDonald,
<br />Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk.
<br />Ordinance No. 2613 was introduced by Mr. Crider. An ordnance determining the
<br />necessity of constructing a sewerage system for the city of North Olmsted
<br />and of levying a preliminary assessment upon the benefited lots and lands
<br />within said city to pay the cost of general and detailed plans, specifications,
<br />estimates, and other charges preliminary to and in connection with the con-
<br />struction and financing of said improvement. It was moved by Mr. Crider,
<br />seconded by Mr. Porter, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance
<br />be read immediately the second and third tunes and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Kramer,
<br />MacDonald, Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the
<br />second and third tunes and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Porter,
<br />Schwenk.
<br />A bid from Hannon and Nousak regarding the repair and resurfacing of Westchester
<br />Drive and Olmsted Drive in Westchester Estates, Subdivision No. 3 was transmitted
<br />to City Council through John R. Cloyd's office, stating the use of the following
<br />approximate quantities at the prices shown:
<br />Westchester Drive
<br />250 Tons Slag i~ X6.00 per ton.
<br />6,000 Gals. Liquid Asphalt ~ .20 per Gallon
<br />Olmsted Drive
<br />200 Tons Slag ~ X6.00 per ton.
<br />5,000 Gals. Liquid Asphalt ~ .20 per Gallon

<br />Ordinance No. 2614 was introduced by Mr. Schwenk. An ordinance authorizing
<br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on permanent parcel
<br />No. 233-4-11 on Barton Road, North 0]msted, Ohio. It was moved by I~ir. Schwenk,
<br />seconded by hir. Kramer, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and put on. its passage. The
