<br />The Building Comudssioner~s report showed permits in the amount of X737.65,
<br />and estimated construction value ~la.96,575.00.
<br />To complete the transportation repoat, schedules were adjusted and will be in
<br />effect by November 15th. The drivers miles were cut down, as well as the
<br />hours per week in order to give an increase to the Bus Line employees of x+.10
<br />per hour to the hourly rate employees and 5~ increase to salaried employees,
<br />effective November 16th. C.T.S. is paying a rate of $2.21 to Bus Drivers.
<br />The current increase brings up the drivers rate to a maximum of X2.11, and
<br />it was requested that it be written into the minutes that this wage proposal
<br />be reviewed in the early part of January, 1958.
<br />Ordinance No. 2585 was introduced by Mr. Neubauer. An ordinance amending
<br />Sections 1 and 3 of Ordinance No. 2194, passed August lb, 1955, entitled:
<br />i'An ordinance fixing the compensation and vacation periods of the bus drivers
<br />of the North OLnsted Municipal Bus Line and providing for the compensation
<br />of employees of the Municipal Bus Garage and certain other employees of the
<br />Municipal Bus Line, beginning September 1, 1955, as amended by Ordinance No.
<br />2376, passed October 16, 195b, and Ordinance No. 2423, passed January 1,
<br />1957. It was moved by Mr. Neubauer, seconded by Mr. Schwenk, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the ordinanc® be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as followss Baker, Crider, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Porter,
<br />Schwenk. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the second and third times and
<br />put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows; Baker,
<br />Crider, Kramer, Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk.
<br />The Engineer reported that inasmuch as five permits to install their own
<br />sidewalks had been taken out, Gessner Road was short a little over two
<br />hundred feet for 60% foot frontage and the petitions should be referred
<br />back to the circulators of the petition.
<br />The meeting ad3ourned to the call of the Clerk.
