<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, that all of Lorain Road be zoned

<br />The Mayor requested Mr. V. Burt, Special Le:gal Counsel to the Council and Mayor
<br />on the Zoning Ordinance, to give his opinian with respect tO 3 members of Council
<br />overruling the recommendation of 7 members of the Planning Commission regarding
<br />amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.
<br />Mr. V. Burt stated that Council had not overruled the Planning Commission at this
<br />point and that in event other amendments ar•e proposed and overruled by a
<br />ma,jority of inembers present, tNe adoption cof the Zoning Ordinance No. 62-33 would
<br />require an affirmative vote of 2/3 of inembe;rs elected to Council as the Ordinance
<br />as amended would be in variance with recommendations of the Planning Commissian.and
<br />that he would submit his opinion in writinq if requested to do so.

<br />end of town as shown on the proposed zone rnap be changed to a Mixed Use District.

<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Christman, that the strip of land lying south
<br />of Sherman Road and extending to the southiBrly boundary of the City bounded on
<br />the west by the Industrial District and easterly a distance of 360' or to the rear
<br />land of the lots on west side of W. 310th St.,whichever be appropriate, be changed
<br />from "A: Residential District to Multipte IResidential Use and the Zone Map be
<br />changed accordingly. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Mangani, Van Zandt. Motion
<br />passed.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Christman, that a strip within the Industrial
<br />District 360' in width being the most nortlherly strip of such equal in width from
<br />the westerly boundary of the municipality to Chestnut Ridge Road be changed from
<br />Industrial Use District to Multiple Residence District and the map be changed
<br />accordingly. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Mangani, Van Zandt. Motion passed.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, that Rule 50 of the Rules of Council be
<br />suspended. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Mangani, Van Zandt. Motion passed.
<br />Mr. Leqoard moved, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that Ordinance No. 62-33 be adopted as
<br />amended. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Mangani, Van Zandt. Motion passed.
<br />Mr. Burt advised that he was indiff erent as to the outcome of the Zoning Ordinance
<br />but that he was hired to see that it is a valid ordinance and to advise as to the order
<br />of procedure. He stated that the Zoning Crdinance No. 62-33 is not consistent with
<br />recommendations.made by the Planning Commission in 3 particulars which are:
