MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL
<br />THE ClTY OF NORTH pLMSTED, OHIO
<br />JULY 24, 1962 - 7:55 P.M.
<br />Present were Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Council;
<br />Henry Caster, Ralph Christman, James Leonarci, Dewey Limpert, A. L. Mangani,
<br />Norman Van Zandt.
<br />Also Present were Lloyd E. Barnes, Service [)irector; James T. Wilson, Safety
<br />Director and Eleanor Ruple, Deputy Clerk of Council.
<br />Absent: Francis J. 0'Neill; George Schaaf, Law Director; W. L. Gerlach,
<br />Finance Director,; Louise Hall, Clerk of Couricil
<br />In the absence of Louise Hall, Bruce MacDoniald appointed Eleanor Ruple,
<br />Deputy Clerk of Council.
<br />Mr. Caster Moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert ttiat Ordinance No, 62 - 126, be
<br />repealed. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt.
<br />Ordinance No. 62 - 138 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An Ordinance amending
<br />sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 61 - 59, E:nacted March 28, 1961, entitled
<br />"An ordinance determining salaries, wages and bonds of appointed officials
<br />and employees of the City of North Olmsted, and repea)ing Ordinance No. 62 - 126,
<br />and declaring an emergency." It was moved by Mr. Caster, seconded by Mr. Limpert
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the: ordinance be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passaqe. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as followso Caster, Christman, l.eonard, Limpert, Mangani, VanZandt.
<br />Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows; Caster, Christman,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, VanZandt.
<br />Mra Limpert moved, seconded by Mr. Manganf t:he absence of Mr. 0'Neill be
<br />excused. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonarci, Limpert, Mangani, VanZandt.
<br />The meeting adjourned to the call of the Cle:rk at 8:08 P.M.
