<br />Ordinance No. 63-259 was introduced by Mir. Caster. An ordinance providing for
<br />the issuance ofi a note in anticipation cif the issuance of bonds and the levy
<br />and collection of special assessments fcir the purpose of constructing sidewalks
<br />on sundry streets in the City of North Cllmsted where such sidewalks were not
<br />constructed by the abutting owners in ccimpliance with written notice as provided
<br />in Resolution No. 63-159, and declaring an emergencya The Clerk advised that
<br />the Certificate of Fiscal Officer regarcling this ordinance was on filea Mr.
<br />Caster moved, seconded by Mro Van Zandt, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read immediately thie second and third times and put on its
<br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Leonard,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt. 1'hereupon the ordinance was read the
<br />second and third times and put on its peassage and the affirmative vote thereon
<br />was as follows: Caster, Leonard, Limpeo°t, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandta
<br />Ordinance No. 63-260 was introduGed by IMr. Limpert. An ordinance consenting
<br />to the maintenance and repair of certaiin streets and roads by the Board of
<br />County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Mr, Limpert moved, seconded
<br />by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative
<br />vote on said motion was as followse Caster, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill,
<br />Van Zandt, Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, the amendment of Ordinance No.
<br />63-237 changing the amount of land sought to be re-zoned to a lesser amount of
<br />land as shown by a metes and bounds description which I hereby hand to the
<br />Clerk of Council and the reading again of said ordinance as so amended, by
<br />title only, at this rneeting, as the second reading thereof; and that in the
<br />interest of accuracy of the Council records that the Clerk of Council be
<br />instructed to retype said ordinance to reflect this acmendment before its
<br />third and final reading. In explanation of this amendment Mr. Mangani
<br />stated that the new description evens out the southern boundary of the land
<br />sought to be rezoned at a point just east of Great Northern Boulevard and
<br />as amended would permit more uniform future development of the land immediately
<br />to the south of the area sought to be re-zoned. "Yeas" Caster, Leonard, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt.
<br />Ordinance No, 63-237 as amended was geven its second reading.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. 0'Ne:ill, that Ordinance No. 63-237 as amended
<br />be referred to the Planning Commission. "Yeas" Caster, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani,
<br />0'Neill, Van Zandt.
<br />The Service Director's requests for deciications was referred to the Public Development
<br />and Service Committee.
<br />Mr. Mangani advised that anot.her, meeting will be held on Thursday, December 5, 1963
<br />to further study the proposed High RisEB Ordinance.
<br />Mr. Leonard requested that the City Planning Committee and Safety Committee study
<br />the possibility of requiring private drives as right of ways into apartment areas
<br />be a m i n i mum of 60 f eet .
