<br />the proposed new library buildi.ng. Based on the Engineer's report and estimate,
<br />the Committee recommends that a bond issue for $320,000 for the library be placed
<br />on the ballot for the next general election.
<br />Mr. James Cater presented an iiiitiative petiti.on asking that the question of
<br />issuing bonds for a municipal swimming pool be placed on the ballot. The petition
<br />was presented as being signed by 724 electors af the city.
<br />Martin Horvath, 5826 Coiumbia Raad presented a citizens' petition protesting trie
<br />construction of sidewalks, said to be signed by all residents from Butternut
<br />Ridge to the existing sidewalks in the area of Columbia Road and Mastick.
<br />Various comments and questions were heard from residents of Lorain Road and Calumbia
<br />Road, with regard to the notice to construct sidewalks.
<br />Residents of Sunset Ova1 were aiso heard, with protests about conditions exist irig
<br />? in their area, uncut weeds, overcrowding of homes, etc. "
