Bruce KitchQn; Finance Dlrector W. L. Gerlach; <br />Safety-Service Director Del Limpert; City Englneer Rlchard Labas; Clerk af <br />Council Margaret West. <br />Absent: President nf Council F. J. O'Ne111. <br />Minutes of the meeting of 5eptember 20, 1966 were approved as wrfttenE <br />Mayor Christman reported receiving a prellminary sketch of the proposed center <br />line on an extensian of Stearns Road to the north, tyfng rnto Bassett Road. <br />He requested that it be studied by the Deslgn and Platting Committee. <br />Safety-Service Qlreator Del L1mpert, Cn h1s wrYtten report to Cauncil, requested <br />authortzatlon to sell fihe equ?pment from fihe Park RYdge Treatment Plant. <br />? Mrs. Hodgins, Chairman of fihe Liquor Control Committee, stated that legCslatton <br />obJecting to the Nardi-Engagtia permit applicatlons is berng presented for <br />action, as a result of her committee recommendafiion. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of Municipal Development CamnYttee, reported that a ietter <br />is being prepared ta send to property owners on Southern along with a copy of <br />the report of the Equallzafiion Board on starm sewers. <br />Mr. Manganl moved that Councll grant a thir?hy-day extenslon to the Plannfng Com- <br />mission on the Philip Engoglia Subdivislon. Motlon was seconded by Mre Caster. <br />"Yeas"Caster, Elan, Foltz, Hodglns, Ltmpert, Mangant, ' 'm <br />Mr. West, Chairman of the FInance Committee, reported that they have been meeting <br />and going over the 1967 budget an salarles and wages, They have reached an <br />agreament on a number of departments, and w111 be meettng next fiuesday far more <br />revisw. <br />Mrs. Jtmes Monck, 23433 Woodvlew Drlve, requested that the sldewalk be extended <br />on Woodview and Treelane at the ctrcle. The request was referred to the Municlpal <br />Development Committee, who wtli report on 1t at the next meeting. <br />Mrs. Monck also asked about n storn? sewer at the rear of her yard and the possi- <br />bilifiy of its being enclosed. The Safety-Service Dlrector will check on it and <br />see what can be done.
