Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, <br />Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West. Mr. Caster moved for adoption, seconded by <br />Mrs. Hodgins. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, <br />Mangani, West. <br />In response to a question from the Engineer, Mr. Mangani requested that the <br />Ordinance No. 66-149, which was amended, be referred to the Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Limpert reminded Council that on May 17th the Transportation Committee <br />reported to Council on a meeting with Fairview on a new bus contract. He <br />requested a vote from Council to authorize the contract. He then moved that <br />Council authorize the Law Director to draw up a new contract with Fairview. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. West. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, <br />Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Mr. Caster referred to a report on objections to the 1964 sidewalk assessments <br />which was submitted to Council on May 17th. He then asked that legislation be <br />prepared accepting the report, to be on an emergency basis. <br />Mr. Caster requested that legislation be drawn to proceed with the final <br />assessments on the 1964 sidewalks, also to be on an emergency basis. <br />Mr. Limpert requested that the legislation for the Fairview bus contract also <br />be prepared for emergency passage. <br />Mr. Limpert requested that a resolution be prepared recognizing the services <br />rendered to the City by Harry Crider. <br />Mr. West moved that the Safety-Service Director be authorized to proceed with <br />his investigation for a new speaker system for the Council chamber. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Limpert. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, <br />Mangani, West. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be drawn authorizing the Safety-Service <br />Director to direct the Engineer to p-hoceed with a plat for widening and exten- <br />sion of Duane from Driscoll to Canterbury as shown on the map from the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be drawn authorizing the Mayor to proceed <br />with the appropriation of the Mitchell property fior Great Northern Boulevard. <br />The Clerk was directed to write a letter to Mr. Kanareff asking him to furnish <br />the linen showing amendments to the Columbia Land Subdivision Nos. I, 2 and 3. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be drawn accepting'for record purposes <br />only, amendments to Columbie Land Subdivision Nos. I, 2 and 3.
