<br />Mayor Chr-'estman suggested fihat conslderation be given to changing the PVatting
<br />Ordinance to handle sidewalks in new subdivision, where there is now no way of
<br />pushing fihe instalPafiion of sidewalks where there is a gap in buiiding. He
<br />suggested a fieme aim?t, or some similar clause,.
<br />Mrso Hodgins requested, on recommendation from the Safety Committee, that IegG's-
<br />bation be drawn prohibiting a left turn into Brookpark from the westbound lane
<br />on Loraln Road.
<br />Mr. Mangani requested that Vegisiation be drawn approving rthe plat of the Wfi?jam
<br />Boettler Subdivision (two lots) on McKenzie for record purposes only, and turned
<br />-rhe p9at over to the Law Director.
<br />Mr. West requested that legislation be drawn aufihorizing the expend+ture ofi up
<br />to $250 for- the bus drivers' Safety Award Dinnar to be heGd in February.
<br />Mr. West asked fihat legislation be drawn refunding to the Amblers the $75.00
<br />overcharged them for a sewer assessment.
<br />Mr. West also reported that the Finance Commifitee had discussed the mafter of
<br />c9aims against the Caty, and recommenctto the administration that they take the
<br />City's mora'Z obiigation infio consideration, as well as fihe legal obligaTions 'n
<br />the matter of payang off damages known to be caused by the City. One case yn
<br />point which he cited was a flooded basement in Park Ridge where there was damage
<br />sustained, The Finance Committee recommends that the Cify ought to consider
<br />its mora6 obGigations based on facts when making damage payments.
