i a <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 2, 1965 <br />8:12 P.M. <br />Present: Mayor Ralph Christman; President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill; Jack <br />Foltz; Virginia Hodgins; James Leonsrd; Dewey Limpert; A. L. Mangani; John West. <br />Absent: Henry Caster, <br />Also present: Frank Lord, Assistant Law Director; Del Limpert, Safety-Service <br />Director; Margaret West, Clerk, <br />President 0'Neill asked that Council be polled that they were notified more than <br />twenty-four hours in advance of the special meeting by written notice, and that <br />the agenda as stated in advance was as follows: <br />Resolution No. 65-176 - A Resolution determining to proceed with the election upon <br />the proposed issue of bonds for the purpose of constructing and equipping an indoor <br />swimming pool together with the appurtenances thereto, including acquisition and <br />improvement of the site thereof, <br />Resolution No. 65-178 - Resolution suthorizing the purchase by the City of three <br />graves in Lot No. 101 in Butternut Ridge Cemetery from Margaret Lyndes. <br />? Resolution No. 65-179 - Resolution declaring certain abutting property on Butternut <br />Ridge to be in the unsewered section of the City and not subject to assesament for <br />lateral sewers on Butternut Ridge or to sanitary sewer service charges. <br />Ordinance No. 65-180 - An Ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of <br />the City of North Olmsted of certain amendments to the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted as recommended by the Charter Review Commission, <br />Ordinances Nos. 65-181 to 65-190 - Cancelling special assessments. <br />Eaeh member acknowledged receipt of the above. <br />Resolution No, 65-176 was given its second reading, A Resolution determining to <br />proceed with the election upon the proposed issue of bonda for the purpoae of <br />conatrueting and and equipping an indoor awimming pool together with the appur- <br />tenances thereto, including acquisition and improvement of the site thereof. Mr. <br />Weat moved for suapension of the rule requiring three aeparate readinge, seconded <br />by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Folta, Hodgina, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, <br />West. Mr. West then moved for suapenaion of the rule requiring reading of the <br />resolution in its entirety, aeconded by Mr, Limpert. Affirmettfve vote wae Foltz, <br />Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. Mr. Weat then moved for adoption, <br />seconded by Mr, Limpert, Affirmative vote was Foltz, Hodgina, Leonard, Limpert, <br />Mangani, West. <br />Reaolution No. 65-178 was given ita aecond reading. Reaolution authorizing the <br />purchase by the City of three gravea in Lot No. 101 in Butternut Ridge Cemetery <br />from Margaret Lyndes, Mr, Limpert moved for suspenaion of the rule requiring three <br />Cv, separate readinge, seconded by Mr, Mangani. Affirmative vote waa Foltz, Hodgins, <br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Weat. Mr, Limpert then moved for suepenaion of the <br />
