<br />Resolution No, 65-116 was introduced by Mr, Mangan.i> A Resalution approving
<br />for record purposes only the proposed subdivisian knawn as East Park Subdivision,
<br />and declaring an emergency, Mr. Mangani moved for suspensfon of the rule requir-
<br />ing three separate readings of the resolution, seconded by Mr, Gaster. Affirma-

<br />Mangani then moved for suspension of the rule requiring reading of the resolution
<br />in its entirety, seconded by Mr, Castet. Affirmative vote thereon was Caster,
<br />Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. Mr. Mangani then moved for
<br />adoption of the resolution, seconded by Mr, Caster, Affirmative vote was
<br />Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West,
<br />Mr, Jfle Bauer, developer of the Beverly Hills Subdivision, appeared before
<br />Council, at Council's request, for a discussion as to the gas lights installed
<br />in a portion of his subdivision. He stated that he had not agreed to put them
<br />down the full length of the street, and did not now intend ta do so,
<br />Mr. Foltz asked that the Public Service and Development Committee consider
<br />continuing sidewalks on the south side of Whitetho.rn and a small portion on
<br />Andrus, where about three houses on Whitethorn are withaut sidewalks and about
<br />20 feet remafn to be put in on the corner of Andrus. This would complete the
<br />sidewalks in this area and permit children to have sidewalks all the way.
<br />Mayor Christman reminded Council that All Scouts Day will be on June 12th and
<br />each city official has been notified that a scout. has been selected for his
<br />position and will be visiting that day. A luncheon is planned at the Community
<br />Cabin at 12:00 noon, and all are urged to attende
<br />Mr. Mangani moved that Council approve the preliminary plat of the Columbfa Lano
<br />Development No, 4. Motion was seconded by Mr, Leonard, "Yeas" Caster, Foltz,
<br />Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West.
<br />Mr. Caster announced the Public Service and Development Committee will meet on
<br />June 8th at 8:00 on access to Zayre's, the drainage ordinance, sidewalks for
<br />Whitethorn and Andrus, and the relocation of 252,
<br />Mr, Foltz announced a meeting of the Legislativec. Committee will be held at
<br />8:00 on June 9th.
<br />The Safety Committee will meet at 7:00 on June 3rd, before the Finance Committee
<br />meet ing,
<br />Mr. West moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Leonard, "Yeas" Caster, Foltz,
<br />Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. The meeting was adjourned to the
<br />call of the Clerk at 9: 48 P. M.
