The City had to pick 4xp additional costs for relocation mf <br />hydrants which were overlooked in the 1964 sidewalk plans. After some discussion as to wh.ether the requested <br />gottion for the city might be high, and how much mmney we have to spend, the <br />Mayor said he would go tca the meetbng with an open mind. <br />Mr. West9 Chairman9 reported the Finance Committee met and agreed to recommend <br />that legislation be drawn authorizs.ng the City to penrchase two groperties south <br />of the City Ha11, at 5222 and 5238 Dover Raad, One will be used immediately <br />for office space, and the other caill be rented. The money wi.ll have to be <br />obtained from bond issue, <br />The Committee also recommended t?hat legislation be drawn authorizing the borrow- <br />ing of the City's portion of the improvement on Great Nmrthern Boulevard, in <br />the sum of $52,000, <br />The Committee feels they need more information before taking action on the <br />replaeing of the Bradley Road culvert. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chairman of Cbty Planning Committee, reported a meeting on April <br />8th with Mr. West, Mr, Gaster, Mr. Prokasy, Mr. Spalsiing and Mr. Labas present. <br />With regard to Sec, 1193,01 - Livable Floor Area in A Residence Distri.ct, they <br />recommend a change fsom 1250 to 1150 square feet f or a 12 story dwelling, and <br />1025 tm 900 f or a 2-staary btaa.lding. In Sec. 1153,02, they recommend changing <br />the livable floor area in a B residence distriet from 875 t0 850 square feet <br />for a two-story dwelling.
