Mr. Caster reported that at a special meeting of the Plannbng Commission held <br />before Council meeting, they had aecepted and approved improvement plans for <br />Sandy Ridge #1, and passed the matter on to Council and the Public Development <br />Committee. The plans have been approved by the Engineer and with the approval <br />of the Councbl committee, Mr. Caster requdsted that Gouncil assign a number <br />to a resolution accepting the improvement plans and put it on f irst reading. <br />Resolut ion No. 65-99 was introduced by Mr. Caster and put on f brst reading. <br />A Resolution accepting the improvement plans for Sandy Ridge Subdivision #1. <br />Mr. Mangani moved that C? il rejec the Columbiana House Apartment preliminary <br />plan, as submitted to thelanning M . "Yeas" Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Mr. West moved that legislation be drawn authorizing the borrowing of money <br />by note in the amount of $52,000, to cover the City's portion of Great Northern <br />Boulevard improvement. Motion was seconded by Mr. Leonard. "Yeas" Caster, <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Zeonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Mr. Foltz moved that legislation be prepared to regulate blasting in North Olmsted <br />based on Parma's ordinance No. 25-56, with amendments 1309.06. Motirn was <br />seconded by Mr. I.impert. "Yeas" Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, <br />West. <br />Mr. Foltz moved that legislation be prepared to regulate the hours during <br />which structures can be moved on main thoroughfares gn North Olmsted, and <br />requiring that contractors deposit $1,000 with the City to be used to defray <br />the cost of manpower hoears and equipment costs td the City, and that contrac- <br />tors be required to file a performance bond and promf of ownership of liability <br />insurance in the amount of $100,000 liability and $300,000 personal liability. <br />Mr. Limpert seconded the motion.
