<br />An Ordinance amending the Zone Map adopted as part of the Ordinance Noe 62-33
<br />(known as The Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted) by changing the
<br />designation thereon of certain lands from its present designation thereon as
<br />General Business Dfstrict and Multiple Residence District to Class "A°" Hi-
<br />Rise District (Resfdential)e The ordinance was referred to the Planning
<br />Comarission.
<br />Ordinance No, 65-44 was introduced by Mr, West, An Ordinance amending Section
<br />1 of Ordinance NO, 3121, entitled "An Ordinance relating to compensation of
<br />' employees of the Municipal Bus Lines," as amended by Ordinance Noo 63-7
<br />enacted January 2, 1963, and declaring an emergency, Mr. West moved, seconded
<br />by Mr. Limpert, that the rule requiring three separate readings of the
<br />ordinance be suspended. Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Leonard, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, West; opposed,Hodgins. Mr. West then moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert,
<br />that the rule requiring the resoltztion to be r.ead in its entirety be suspended.

<br />opposed, Hodgins. Mr, West then moved for adoptfon of the ordinance, with a
<br />second by Mr. Limperte At this point Mrs. Hodgins explained that she was
<br />voting against the ordinance because she felt the police and firemen should
<br />be considered for a raise, although she realized the bus funds were separate,
<br />and she also felt the raise was a rather high one, Mro Limperf explained
<br />that it has been a considerable length of ti.mz since the mechanfcs have had
<br />a raise, that it had been under discussion as long as other raises, and that
<br />it was not out of line when compared to others in the same occupation. It
<br />was also pofnted out that the fire and policemen had received substantial
<br />raises since the mechanics had been raisedo Mrv West moved for adoption,
<br />seconded by Mr. Limpert, and the affirmative vote thereon was Caste;, Folt4,

<br />the payment of a$50,00 reward for information leading to the arrest and con-
<br />viction of any person or persons littering the City of North Olmsted, and
<br />declaring an emergencye Mr. Limpert moved for suspension of the rule requfr-
<br />ing three separate readings of the resolution, seconded by Mr. Foltz< Affirma-

<br />-'rese+ution in its entirety, seconded by Mr. Foltz. Affirmative vote was

<br />moved for adoption of the resolution with a second by Mr. Foltz. Affirmative
<br />vote thereon was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limert, Mangani, West,
<br />Resolution No. 65-46 was introduced by Mr. Caster, A Resoiution authorizing
<br />the City of North Olmsted to obtain membership in the Regional Planning
<br />Commission and deelaring an emergency, Mr. Caster moved for suspension of
<br />the rule requiring three separate readings of the resolutfon, seconded by
<br />Mr. Manganio Affirmative vote thereon was Caster, Foltz, flodgins, Leonard,
