<br />Mr, Mangani moved that the proposed hf-rise preliminary plat in the mixed
<br />use area adjacent to the Shopping Center bce aiqm=W referred to the

<br />Mr, Foltz reported that tfie Legislative Committee at a meeti.ng earlier in
<br />the evening had met and recommended that legislation be prepared for emergency
<br />snow conditions. Mr. Foltz then moved that the Law Director be requested to
<br />prepare legislation for an emergency snow oa°dinance. Motion was seconded by

<br />The question of compulsory retirement was referred to the Legislative
<br />Committee for consideration.
<br />Mr. Caster moved that legislation be prepared to change the name of Pinoak
<br />Boulevard to Great Northern Boulevard, and that all existing legislation be
<br />amended. Motion was seconded by Mr. Mangani, "Yeas°" Caster, Foltz, Hodgins,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West.
<br />Mr, Caster moved that legislation be prepared to adopt 7" concrete pavement
<br />for the Engineer's specifications. Motion was seconded by Mr. Mangani. "Yeas"

<br />Mr. Caster moved that the Safety-Service Director direct the Engineer to
<br />provide improvement plans for the improvement of Great Northern Boulevard
<br />from I,orain to Brookpark. Moti.on was seconded by Mr, Leonard, "Yeas"

<br />The Engineer was requested to determine the amaunt of the bond, and title of
<br />the property on both North Park and Park Ridge package sewage treatment plants.
<br />The Finanee Committee was requested to consider the cost of $910 per year for
<br />joining the Regional Planning Commission,
<br />Mr, Caster moved that legislation be prepared apposing the proposed tax on the
<br />water bills, to be directed to the State Legislature, the Governor and the
<br />City of Cleveland. Motion was seconded by Mr, Leonard. "Yeas" Caster, Foltz,
<br />Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West,
<br />Mr. Leonard requested that the Clerk write to Mrs, Catner, Clerk of Cleveland
<br />Council, and rgquest that this Gity be advi.secl of any committee hearings
<br />on the water bill tax, as far in advance aa possible, and if the Utilities
<br />Committee is apprised of the meeting dates9 theq will do their best to get
<br />to them. Mr. Leonard alsa requested that the Clerk thank Mrs, Cotner for
<br />the copies of the annual progress report of' the City of Cleveland sent to our
<br />Counc il .
