<br />Present: President F. J. 0'Neill; Cauncilmen Caster, Eian, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West.
<br />Also gresent; Mayor Ralph Christman; Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen.
<br />President 0°Neill explained that the special meeting was called for two
<br />purposes, the first being to act on a proposal for a swimming pool, and
<br />asked for comments from Council.
<br />A discussian ensued as to the Swimming Pool, Inc, proposal and the over-
<br />all study being made by the Recreation Commission with a view to putting
<br />a recreation levy on the May 8allot.
<br />Mr. Jorin West moved that the Swimming Pools, Inc. proposal be submitted
<br />to the Recreation Committee, and the Recreation Committee be given the
<br />assignment to recommend it back out to Council after the comprehensive
<br />plan as recommended by the Recreation Commission is received. Motion
<br />was seconded by Mr. Eian. "Ayes" Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Mi.ller, Prokasy,
<br />West, "Nay" Limperto
<br />Mrv Caster, Chairman of the Municipal Development Committee, reported they
<br />met with the Engineer Saturday morning to review improvement plans for
<br />the Sandy Ridge Subdivision Nos. 4, 5 and 6. Present at the review were
<br />Mrm West, Mr. Eian, Mr. Miller and Mr. Caster. The Committee recommends
<br />passage of Resolution No. 68-169 on an emergency basis, so that the developer
<br />can proceed before bad weather.
<br />Resolution No. 68-169 was introduced by Mre Castere A Resolution accepting
<br />the improvement plans for Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 4, Sandy Ridge Subdi-
<br />vision No„ S and Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 6, and declaring an emergency,
<br />Mr. Caster moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings, seconded
<br />by Nir< Prokasya Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller,
<br />Prokasy, West., Mro Caster then moved for adoption, seeonded by Mr. Prokasy,
<br />Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limperrt, Mil].er, Prokasy, West.
<br />Mr. Eian then moved for ad.journment, seconded by Mr. Miller. "Ayes" Caster,
<br />Eian, H.odgins, Miller, Prokasy, Limpert, West.
<br />The meeting was adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 8:55 P.M.
