<br />C-0 Mrso Mary Jane Kelly of Olmsted Falls remarked that CTS has student pass which
<br />chiudren can buy allowing them to ride on all CTS transportation for 50% of adult
<br />fare and it lasts for a whole semester.
<br />Mr. Joseph B. Nooney of Fairview Park recommends that in consideration of information
<br />presented so thoroughly, fare increase should be reconsidered. Mr. West said we would
<br />be glad to work with this Cornmittee. Mr. Mangani remarked that we must have head count
<br />of students riding bus. After discussion, Mr. Limpert set up meeting with Committee
<br />of Eleven for 8:00 p.m.,Tuesday,September 26th, in City Hall Caucus Room.
<br />?rs. Wm. Lenohan, Cromwell Ave., F. P,, said this year's passes would not be indicative
<br />of number who would ride buses. Ed Modic, 22290 Westwood, also commented on situation.
<br />Mr. Ben Makowski, 24998 Maple Ridge, said he was anxious to know what they've gained
<br />from th6s meeting. Jerry Laugel, 464$ Orchard Rd., F.P., also spoke about rate increases.
<br />iMr. Gaul said he would like to how the proposed increase read in Ordinance. Mr. 0'Neill
<br />saed an Ordinance was posted at City Hall. Mr. Ledvina then suggested that all had had
<br />ample opportunity to speak. This shoutd be sufficient until Committee meets with Council
<br />next week, September 26, at 8:00 p.m.
<br />Mro Thomas Telzrow, 23965 LeBern Drive, stated a meeting had been held which residents
<br />had not been informed about. He felt City had misrepresented themselves. Mrs. Hodgins
<br />said meeting would be September 28, 7:30, City Hall. Mr. Telzrow said swale has been
<br />cornpleted. He had understood this would not be done until there was a meeting with
<br />Rzepka Builders and City Engineer Dutton,and members of Council. However, Mr. Dutton
<br />said he had never agreed that swale operation woutd be held up, only that he was
<br />agreeable to having meeting set up to discuss drain tile with Rzepka Builders. Mr.
<br />Mangani made it plain that there will be a swale and tile, or no tile.
<br />Mre Mangani moved that Finance Director be requested to furnish Fiscal Officer's
<br />Certification in connection with Note Ordinance No. 67-217.Motion seconded by Mr.
<br />master. "Yeas" Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West.
<br />O'rdinance No. 67-217 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance authorizing the
<br />issuance of a note in anticipation of the issuance of bonds and of the levy and
<br />collection of special assessments to pay the cost of improving Barton Rd. and Alex-
<br />ander Rd. between certain termini by constructing sidewalks in said city, and de-
<br />clareng an emergency. Mr. West moved for suspension of the rule requiring three
<br />separate readings, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz,
<br />Hodguns, Limpert, Mangani and West. Mr. West then moved for adoption, seconded by
<br />Mc, Mangani. Affirmative vote Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani and West.

<br />Ordanance No. 67-218 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance to provide for
<br />tre ossuance of a note in anticipation of the issuance of bonds for the pur-
<br />pose of acquiring right-of-way for Great Northern Boulevard, and declaring
<br />an emergency. Mr. West moved for suspension of the rule requiring three sep-
<br />arare readings, seconded by Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz,
<br />Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani and West. Mr. West then moved for adoption, seconded
<br />by Mro Castero Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani
<br />and West.
