Would recogn9ze Community Improvement Committee which could operate as a iegal arm of the City for specific purposes, i.e, tax free revenue bonds. Mr. Caster, Chai rmara of Appoi ntment Gommi ttee, sai d thi s commi ttee recommends that Counci 1 accept Joseph F. IColick as a mprnber of the Recreation Commission to replace Harvey Levy, whose term on Recreation Commissiora expires Decernber 1968. Mr. Castea- movec4 that M,r. Mr. Caster mentioned that FBarvey Levy has served on the Recreation Commission since 9ts inception and feels that Council should pass some kind of a resolution showang our appreciation for his good and faithful services. It could bP a program in conjunction with the Conserva- tion aepartment of the High School, and they might raise trees for City. Of course labor and seedlings would be involved. It could be made to pay off in five to ten years.
