"Yeas" Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, <br />Limper_t, Mangax7i, West. <br />Mr. West requested that legislation be drawn establishing the <br />position of Secretary of Commissions, with a base flat salary <br />of $1,800 annual_iq, and $2.00 an hour for every night meeting, to <br />e on emergency. <br />Ar. West requested t.hat legislation be drawn authorizing the Safety- <br />Service Director °-?- adver.L-ise for bids for a replacement automobile <br />for use in the Sewage T'reatment Sys"_-em. <br />Mayor Christman explained a proposal from the County Mayors' and <br />Cl ?:y Managers'Asseciation for the formation of a Regional Council <br />~ ?'lovernment, ai},3 asked Council to study the suggested petition <br />?o: action at thµ i,arliest possible date. <br />rt:-,Vor Christman advised that in order to have a rate reduction in <br />the sewer revenue charge become effective in August, it would be <br />necessary to pass the required legislation either at the special <br />meeting on the 26th of June, or at a special meeting in July, so <br />that the water company would receive the notice in time. <br />Mr. West asked that legislation be prepared in time for the special <br />meeting on June 26th to reduce the sewer revenue charge from $4.93 <br />to $4.75, effective August 1, 1967, to be emergency. <br />Mayor Christman requested that legislation be drawn for a note ordinance <br />for bonds for the City's portion of the Lorain Road resurfacing. <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested that legislation be drawn for demolition of <br />buildings at 24980Lorain Road, as requested by the Building Comaaissioner, <br />to be drawn on emergency for the special meeting. <br />M-~. West requested that the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee <br />ta<.-e another look at the 2 to 6 A.M. parking ban, and Mr. 0'Neill <br />s????,?;ested checking also with the Fire and Police Departments as to <br />th°>,`r thinking on the matter. <br />Mr. Foltz requested that legislation be drawn for the demolition of <br />buildings on Permanent Parcel No. 237-11-42, 23074 Virginia Avenue, <br />to be on emergency. • <br />Mr. Foltz requested that legislation be drawn to enable the City of • <br />North Oltnsted to become a member of the Northeast Ohio Council of <br />Governments, to be on emergency. <br />Mr. Eian requested that legislation be prepared prohibiting stopping, <br />standing or parking on Lorain Road between Dover Center and Decker, <br />on both sides of the street, to be on emergency.
