Council Minutes 2-3-70 -5- Revised <br />been submitted to the Law Director for approval. <br />Mr. West reminded everyone of the Public Hearing set for Febxuary <br />Sth, and stated all Coumcil Menbers shauld be there to hear coments. <br />Under NLwa Business, Mr. tdest moved that Couucil approve members to <br />the Charter Review Commiesiccn which Matyor Christm8n had surbmi.tted to <br />Conncil. The motian was seconded by Mr. Limpert. °'Yeas" Boehmer, <br />Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, West. <br />Mr. West then moved th8t Council approve the appointment of Mr. James <br />M. Davis to the Plarniag Ccna.ission. The moCion was seccmded by Mr. <br />Prok.asy. "Yeas" Boeherer, Grady, Hadgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, <br />taest. <br />Mr, raest requested legislation for approval of platting for S. D. C. <br />Subdivisivn #1 and #2 for record purposes only. <br />At this time Mr. West stated he has confiraing letter from the S. D. C. <br />Subdivision calling for the paving of Midvale &Northern Itoads from the <br />east property line of S. A. C. Subdivi.sion #2 to the pav3ng of Decker <br />Road and replacing 75 ft. of caucrete elliptical culvert within Decker <br />Road in accordance with the City Engiaeex. <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested 1egislation for donating wood storage structure <br />and two sets of stone carrigge-mounting stepa located in Buttemut Ridge <br />Cemetery, to the Hiatorical Societq. <br />Mr. Gradq requested the President of Cauncil to refer to the praper <br />CQemdttee his proposal cal,ling for amosatorium of all building through- <br />out the City until flooding conditions hawwe been resolved. President <br />0'Neill refexred his request to the Municipal Develogment Comanittee. <br />At this time, President 0'Neill stated that with building being as slaw <br />as it is now, wondered if this is a caise move to consider. He also <br />questianed the legality af such a moratorium. <br />Mayor Christman stated he did not feel it is a practical so2ution. <br />Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Municipal Development Committee, called for a <br />meeting on Februaxy 16th, at $:15 p.m., Caucus Room, City Hall, and <br />xequested the Law Director to attend. Mayor Christman said he wiil <br />also attend this meeting. <br />Mr. Grady then requested that a recommendation be submi.tted to the <br />proper Committee to review agatu the practicality of a traffic light <br />at either David Drive or Brendan Laae 6 Lorain Road. This requeet was <br />referred to the Public Safety Committee for further study. <br />Mrayor Christman then stated he would like Mr. A. Mangarti to serve as <br />Chairman of Charter Review Couoission emtil the election of officers. <br />. t??? ,
