<br />Mayor to discuss the expansion and impravement of the Treatment
<br />Plant, and appropriation of a sesaer esaemnt. Mr. Boehmer stated
<br />that the Committee had concurred with the Meyor's recommendations.
<br />Mr. Limpert, Chairman of F3nance Coamittee, reported that this
<br />Cqmittee met with the Fire and Palice Comoaittees on Saturdaq,
<br />Januarq 17th, for the purpose of negotiating salary increases.
<br />Mr. Limpert stated that there has been no agreement reached so far.
<br />Mr. SJest, Chairman of Desipn & plattiag Gommittee, reported that
<br />this Committee met on January I3th to consider the progased rezoning
<br />af the •.aesterly Tawers propertp in frant of Hardwick House from Hi-
<br />Rise to Commercial. This had been appxoved by the Plaztning Commission,
<br />and the Design & Plattiag Committee approved same and will ask for
<br />legislation under New Businees.
<br />Mr. TJest stated that the Plamning Commission requested a 30 day
<br />extensian on the Embassy Re$oning. A motion was made by Mr. West,
<br />secanded bq Mr. Prokasy. "Xeas" Boehmer, Grady, Fladgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, West.
<br />There were no requests to address Council.
<br />LEGiSLATION; Resolutian No. 70-10 4ras introduced bq Mr. Boehmer. A
<br />Resolution authorizing the Maqor to act for the City o£ tdorth Olmted,
<br />Ohio, in an application and other necessary mattera for a Federal Grant
<br />under Public Law 660 in connection taith improvenents and addi.tiotts to
<br />the tdastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emeraency. Mr. Baehtaer
<br />moved for suspension of rule requirinp three separate readings, seconded
<br />by Mr. Limpert. A€firmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Kodgias, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, t-lest. Mr. Boehmer then moved fvr adoption of reso-
<br />lution, seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady,
<br />Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, iiest.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-11 taas introduced 'oy Mr. Grady. An Ordinance authariziag
<br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on certafn permansnt
<br />parcels being an assessment for construction of a sanitary sewer lateral,
<br />and declaring an emergency. P.ir. Grady moved for suspension of rule requir-
<br />ing three separate readinps, seconded Uy Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vate
<br />Boehmer, Grady, Ilodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, t,Jest. Mr. Grady
<br />then moved for adoptian of Ordinance, seconded by l4r. Limpert. Affirmative
<br />vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speed2ing, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-I2 was intraduced by Mr. Limpert. An Ordinance authoriz-
