<br />Mr. E. Vladp 830 Leader Bldg., Cleveland, also requested Cauncil to vote
<br />on ordinanee an.d not to tab:ie ordinance.
<br />Mr. T. Gailaghers 28644 Lorain Road, spoke of money involved in Regional
<br />Planning and Publi.c Hearing. Mr.. Prokasy again reiterated in lieu of above
<br />comments that whether tabled or voted upon, eiLher actian would dispose of
<br />Ordinance No. 69-129 finaily.
<br />Mr. Vlad questioned committee`s right, etc., to which Mi. 0`Neill repiied
<br />that committee reeommends to i:ounciY their decision, then Council. vo[es
<br />as it sees fit.
<br />Mr. Miller to Mr, Kitchen: "My understanding is that this amendment once
<br />tabled, cannot be brought back, and also, if Couni:il vates against this
<br />partlcular urdinance, this same ordinance cannot be brought back." Mr.
<br />Kitchen replied that Ordinan::e Noe 69-129, whether icabled or voted down
<br />is finaliy disposed of. Mx, n'Neill added "in its presar,L state."

<br />No< 69-129, Mr- Kitchen then commented that on September 30th he was ask-
<br />ed whethe-r or not thE person who moved to adopt ordinance could then vote
<br />against ordinanee passage9 and he had said "no." Since then he has sub-
<br />stantiated fact that aDerson moving for adoption, cauld then rightly vote
<br />against ordinance, and he so advised the committee.
<br />Mr. .Tohn Webster, 6001 Sherwood, said he felt those oppased to and in favor
<br />of this ordinance should hear how Gouncil votes on this piece nf legislation.
<br />Mr. West suggesied Iuoking back to last election where they were made con-
<br />scious of problems on Lorain Roadz Mr, West fe1t, as members of Council,
<br />they had a mandate co do something about these preblems. Then, as Council
<br />proceeded, it became ciear that there was much misunderstanding, many untrue
<br />stories repeated, many misunderstandings about what was attempting to be
<br />done< Council finally felt that it would not be wise to gc, ahead at present
<br />time with passaQe of ozdinance, and that a Citizens' Committee should be ap-
