<br />Resolution No. 69-158 was introduced by Mr. Caster. A Resolution declaring
<br />the necessity of constructing sidewalks on Esther Avenue, Virginia Avenue
<br />and Theresa Lane in the City of North Olmsted, requiring that abutting pro-
<br />perty owners construct the same, and declaring an emergencym Mro Caster
<br />moved for suspension of rule req_uiring three separate readings, seconded
<br />by Mr-, Prokasy. Affirmative vote Caster, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, Prokasy,
<br />Westo Mr. Caster then moved for adoption of the Resolution, seconded by
<br />Mr. Prokasy. Affirmative vote Caster, Hodgins, Limpert, Mi11er, Prokasy,
<br />West.
<br />Resolution No? 69-159 was introduced by Mr. Prokasyo A Resolution accepting
<br />the amendment to Sands Subdivision No. 1 for record purnoses only, and declar-
<br />ing an emergency., Mre Prokasy moved for suspension of rule requiring three
<br />separate readings, seconded by Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote Caster, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West. Mr. Prokasy then moved for adoption of the
<br />Resolution, seconded by Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote Caster, Hodings, Limpert,
<br />Miller, Prokasy, West.
<br />Resolution No, 69-160 was introduced by Mr. Prokasy and given its first read-
<br />ing, A Resolution of the Council of the City of North Olmsted approving the
<br />construction of an electric transmission line in the City of North Olmsted,"
<br />Under old business, Mr. West asked Service Director Watts about drainage prob-
<br />lem on Plumwoode Also about sidewalks on vacant lots. Mr. Caster said no
<br />action has been taken on thism Mr. Miller also said there is a spot on Brendan
<br />Lane without sidewalks, Mr. West also inquired about where the City stands with
<br />Engoglia on that subdivision. Mayor Christman said he has contacted Mr. LaPonza
<br />in Mr, Engoglia's absence. Mr. LaPonza had promised to contact our Engineering
<br />office,, The Mayor will get in touch taith him again.
<br />Under new business, MrP Caster requested that legislation of necessity to in-
<br />stall sidewalks on Plumwoaci and Srendan Lane be written.
<br />Mr. West commented thaL, a.t the request of people in Bretton Ridge Subdivision,
<br />he had gone around and looked at vacant lots in Subdivision #4. He agrees that
<br />much Giork needs to be done here: leveling, weed cutting, etce, and feels notice
<br />should be given to get it done. Then, if no action taken by Spring, we will
<br />have to go ahead,
<br />Mr. Limpert aslced the Mayor if it would be possible to gather information as
<br />to the cost to the City on recent investigations, etc? into the naracotics
<br />situation. He questioned if when they are brought to trial and found guilty
<br />whether they receive sufficient penalty. Law Director Kitchen said in one
<br />recent assault and battery charge in which he had been invo7.ved, the penalty
<br />was quite severe for the chargea Mayor Christman said he would see what he
<br />could find out to answer Mr. Limpert`s questions.
