<br />After considerable discussioa as to merits of putting pump on one street or
<br />another this was agreed to.
<br />LEGISLATION: Ordinance No. 70-88 which had been introduced by Mr. Prokasy
<br />was given ita second reating. An Ordfnance awndi.ng Ordinance No. 61-194,
<br />enacted December 5, 1961, entitled "An Ordingnce fixing curfew hours for
<br />minors within the Citq of North Olmsted."
<br />Ordinance No. 70-93 was introduced bq Mrs. Hodgins. An Ordinance approving
<br />a lease agreement and deed with respect to a municipal sw3.mmi.ng pool facility
<br />and authorfztng and directing the Mayor to execute such lesse aqreement and
<br />such deed on behalf of the Citq, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Ar?d$ias
<br />mpved for suspension of rule requiring three separete readings, seconded by
<br />Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Hodgins, Prokasy, Speedling, West.
<br />Negative vote: Grady, Limpert.
<br />At this time Mrs. Hodgins stated the Ordiaance is beiag voted on emergency
<br />because same has been in the process of study by Recreatian Ccrmenissicm end
<br />Public Parks, Property 8 Recreat3on Committee. Ordinance aeeds to be passed
<br />n(xa to even give us a hope for a pool in 1971.
<br />Mrs. Hodgins maved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote:
<br />Boehmer, Hodgins, Prokaaq, Speedling, West. Negative vote: Grady, Limpert.
<br />Mr. Grady explained his negative vote stating he is not against the munici-
<br />pality having a swimming pool but he does noC li?ce this particular ordinance.
<br />He further ccmmented thst we hsve waited this long and another few weeks
<br />cannot hurt.
<br />Resolution No. 70-94 waa introduced bq Mr. Limpert. A Resolution suthoriaing
<br />the Director of Public Service to a+dvertise for bids for new tires aad tubes
<br />for use by the Citq, and suthorizing tha Mayor to coatract for same. Mr.
<br />Limpert moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings,
<br />secanded by Mr. Grady. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Gradp, Aodgins, Limpert,
<br />PxokBSy, Speedling, West. Mr. Limpert then maved for aEiopt3on, seconded
<br />by Mr. Grady. Affireaative vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokssy,
<br />Speedling, taest.
<br />Resolution No. 70-95 wass introduced by Mr. Limpert. A Resolution authorizing
<br />the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for a new 25 yard packer
<br />truck, and authorizing the Maqor to ecmtract for sme. Mr. Limpert movtd
<br />for suspensian of rule requiring thrae separate read3ngs. This nation was
<br />seconded by Mr. Grady. Affirmative vote Bciehmer, Grady?, Hodgins, Lfmpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, taest. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption of resolution,
<br />seconded by Mr. Grady. A€firmative vote Boehmer, Gracly, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, West.
