<br />Resolution ATo. 70-104 was introduced by Mr. TJest. A Resolution smending
<br />Ordinance No. 70-10, enacted Janusry 20, 1970, and entitled "A Resaiution
<br />authorizing the Maqor to act fox the Citq of North Olmste@, Ohio, in an
<br />agplication and ather necessary taatters for a Federal GranC uuder Public
<br />Law 660 in coanection with fmprovements and additions to the Wastewater
<br />Treatffient Plant, and declaring an exergencp", and declaring an emergency.
<br />Mr. West moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings,
<br />seconded by Mr. Prokasy. Affitmative vote Boehmer, Gradq, Hodgins, LiBtpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, 14est. Mr. West moved for adapticm of Resolution, seconded
<br />by Mr. Prakaay, Affirmative vote Boehmer, Gradq, Hodgins, LimQ+ert, Prok.asy,
<br />Speedling, ttest.
<br />Under Old Business Mr. West stated he had visited Chuck's Lamamawer Service
<br />and was impressed with the ogeration. Ae conmaented the man obviously has a
<br />physY.cal disability and his aiternative is to be an relief; insCead of that
<br />he is out worlcing and Mr. West adnaires hiia for doing same. Mr. West believes
<br />he should follow the rules of the CiCy like anqone else but not auymare so.
<br />Marten's new building has a Port-0-Let and that facility ia uaed. Si.gns were
<br />also discussed. iKr. Prokasy stated the Public Safety Comcaittee will gat a
<br />full written report relative to zaning code violations.
<br />Under New Business Mayor Chrfstman stated he will be out of tawn from June 4th
<br />to .Tune 18th.
<br />Mr. IJest moved that Council take vacation in month of August. This motion was
<br />secanded by Mr. Limpert. Af.firmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, West.
<br />Mr. West requested legislation for the approval of the Danielson Subdivision
<br />for record purposes only.
<br />Mr. Baehner requested le4islation for repair of sidewalks on Ceorgette and
<br />Burns Road and new sidewalks an sectlon of Maple Ridge.
<br />Mr. Boehmer calZed for a Municipal Development Committee meeting on June 8th,
<br />8:45 p.m., City Hall, requested Mr. Karhan and Mr. Ranabury to attend.
<br />Mr. Speedling referred to Public Safety Committee the possibillty of a double
<br />arrow sign at intersectian of Fitch & Butternut Ridge Raads andior pedestrien
<br />crossing signs and lane mazkings. Also, the study of the possibilitp of a
<br />traffic signal at Christman and Lorain Roads, and/or pedestrian cros:ing signs
<br />and lane markings.
<br />Mr. Prokasy called for a Public Safety Committee meeting on June 9th, B:OiJ p.m.,
<br />City Hall.
