Council i~tinutes of 6-4-74 <br />-6- <br />Mr. Giesser invited Mr. Mark Addy and the Glavins to a Recreation Committee <br />meeting on June 12, 1974, 8:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Giesser commented he has polled his Committee to determine if the proposed <br />legislation on display of gasoline prices should be withdrarr+n fros agenda and <br />Committee indicated no. Mrs. 5sringer indicated she would like to take legislation <br />into her Committee for additional review. <br />President O'Neill stated Ord. No. 74-73 will be introduced this evening and <br />referred into Committee. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 74-58 introduced by Mr, Glasser was given its third resoling. An <br />Ordinance amending Sectic~ 947.43 entitled "selling merchandise" of E~spter 947 <br />entitled "Parka" of the Codified Ordisa~ces of the City of North Ola:sted. Mr. <br />Giesser moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, <br />Goggin, Lampert, Beringer, taeat, Wilam~ky. Negative vote: Sharpe, 6 Yeas - l Nap <br />Motion carried, Ord. No. 74-58 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 74-67 introduced by Mr. Wilamvsky was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution calling upon the Souse of Representatives to peas Senate Bill 166 <br />which increases the income brackets of the flrs:uestead Exemption by $1,ffOQ. and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved far adoption, seconded by Mr. Goggin. <br />Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wil~-sky. <br />Motion carried, Res. No. 74-67 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 73-79 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reacting. <br />A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Jenkins Road Resubdivsion. <br />Mr. Giesser explained why resolution was held until now. <br />Resolution No. 74-54 introduced by Mr. Giesser was given its second reading as <br />amended. A Resolution approving the application of the provisions of Section 23 <br />of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937, as amended, by the City of North Olmsted, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 74-65 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted by <br />creating a new chapter 737 entitled "Frozen Dessert Peddlers". <br />Resolution No. 74-69 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for two new autoaobiles to be used by the Administration, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same. <br />Ordinance No. 74-70 introduced by Mr. Lim?~ert was given its second readiag. An <br />Ordinance establishing traaaport~iion allowances for use of personal automo'biies <br />by officials of the City of North Opted on official busiaess. <br />Ordinance No. 74-71 introduced by Mr. West was given its seed resdina. Aa <br />Ordinance amending the Traffic Co:itrol ?dap and File of the City of 'North Olmsted <br />by chaaging the "no left turn" s:.gn at D Jar Center Road and Mill Rps~t to no <br />left turn from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p,m." <br /> <br />
