Asked about possibility of a push button stop <br />light during certain times. <br />President O'Neill referred request to Mr. West, Chairman Transportation Conmtittee <br />for review. <br />Mr. Goggin discussed calls he has received concerning motor scooters, mini bikes, <br />etc., that are: not operated by licensed drivers that are not st~-o~sed to be used <br />on public roadways or gublic parks. Ccmdtfon is getting seriou+e in many of <br />school yards. Asked about legislation or police help in these matters. Mayor <br />Christman commented on legislation on right-of~ay and in arses like Pine School <br />ha~re had police step in when they have indicated from the school there is a <br />complaint of this. Lax Director Gareau cowarsnted that these type recreation <br />vehicles have brought forth quite a few pieces of legislation in surro~tdn$ <br />communities regarding control with res~tet to noise, etc. Will provide ss~+les <br />of legislation in this regard, through Clerk. <br />Mr. West moved for adjour~ent, ascended by Mr. Giessen.
