Council Minutes of 4-16-74 -6- <br />Resolution Na. 74-49 was introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only De~Ierth Subdivision in the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 74-50 was introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only Groveland Gardens Subdivision <br />in the City of North 0].msted. <br />Mr. Lampert moved that the Finance Director furnish Fiscal Officer's Certificate <br />in connection with Ordinance No. 74-S1, seconded by Mr. Giesser. Affireratiwe <br />vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lirepert, Sarin~r, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Fiscal Officer`s Certificate was furnished. <br />Ordinance No. 74-S1 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the issuance of $3,fm0,000 notes in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds for the purpose of improving the recreational facilities <br />of the City by constructing, furnishing and equipping a building to house an <br />ice skating rink, swimming pool, tennis courts and appurtenant facilities, <br />constructing a toboggan slide, and acquiring, developing and improving the site <br />therefor, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 74-52 was introduced by Mayor Christman and gives its first reading. <br />A Resolution declaring it necessary to construct the Brookpark Road Extension <br />in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 74-53 was introduced by Mr. Giesser. An Ordinance accepting an <br />easement for an existing storm drain sever located on pr:~.~ate property which <br />abuts Brookpark Road and is situated generally between Grace Avenue and Georgette <br />Avenue in the City of North Olm~tted, and declaring an emerrgency. Mr. Giesser <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate re~.•~ings, seranded by Mr. <br />Lampert. Ord. <br />No. 74-53 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky referred to xeport by Fire Department on water pressure and <br />requested copy of report. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Beringer requested an 8nvironmental Con*_rol Committee meeting on April 29, <br />1974, 8:00 p.M., City Ha1i and req~iested Clerk to notify Fire Chief, Safety <br />Director and Building Commissioner. <br />Mr. Goggin scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting on April 24, 1974, <br />8:00 P.M., City Ball. <br />Mr. Goggin discussed problem with weed control and requirement of 30 degs notice <br />to owner to remove noxious weeds. Law Director Gareau to review section referred <br />to. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Legislation Comn-i.ttee meeting on May 1, 1974, 7130 P.M., <br />~` City Hall. <br />~r Mr. Wilamosky referred to street resurfacing program; incres~sed cost of material <br />and balance left in approprl.ations for street repair, and requested Finance <br />
