Mr. Goggin <br />discussed subject matter. <br />Mrs. Mary Slams, 28670 Jenkins Rd., addressed Council regarding whether or not <br />the Fire Department has accepted the City's offer. Mr. West discussed assts. <br />LEGISLAI"ION: <br />Ordinance lqo. 76-87 introduced by Mr. Boehter was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Wayor to enter into as agrestsnt with Sparky <br />DiBenedetto for the maintenance of street lights on Brookpsrk aged <br />Sparky Lane within the Ctty of 1#crrth Olssted. Mr. Boehwer swwd for adoption, <br />seconded by Mr. West. Mrs. Saringer stated she told Mr. 8 the oEely way <br />she could support this was providing the street lights. that have been requested <br />by her over a period of years be installed before or at the satAe dine that we <br />pick up the e~cpense of these li~pets. Mrs. Saringer has given l+bc. Bosh~er a list <br />of those that she has x~rQmEreted and for the record Meted to mace that point. <br />Mr. Goggin asked thee. It has been several years ared they have been on the list and <br />she cannot see picking up sotethng that is just coring before Conaecil now when <br />there have been requests prior to this -streets that ors older streets in the <br />City that do not have oe~e street light on thex. Mrs. Beringer wild Tike to see <br />those streets have a couple of limits before the City picks up the cost of these. <br />President Li~ert asked about tits elsstset More the City picks up the expense. <br />Mr. Boehsrer stated there is Dime year and one-half time licit and that is one of <br />the reasons he is asking the Mayor to include street lights in his next year's <br />budget. <br />Roll Call on Adoption: Affirsativs vote: Boslmoer, Goggin, Beringer, Sharpe, West; <br />Negative vote: Wilamosky. 5 Yeas - 1 Nay -Motion carried. Ord. No. 76-87 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 76-92 introduced by Mr. Wilatoaky was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance tranaferrieS appropriations and making additional appropriations <br />for current expenses other esgasteditures for the City of Iacrth Olasted, Ohio, <br />for the year ending Decesiber 31, 1376. <br />Resolution No. 76-45 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for the <br />purchase of traffic control signs and poets for use in the City of ti~rth Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 76-97 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Rini ErothsYS Brendan- <br />Lorain Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. <br />
