No. 77-131 aaapted. <br />Ordinance No. 77-132 was introduced by Mr. Beaty and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section I of Ordinance No. 77-48 entitled "An Ordi.~aance <br />establishing compensation to be paid to the bus drivers of the forth Oltsartad <br />Municipal Bus Line and repealing Ordinance No. 76-142 enacted October 5, 1976, <br />and declaring an emergency", eructed tsarch 15, 1977, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 77-133 was introduced by Mr. Beaty and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 77-47 entitled "!~ Ordce es- <br />tablishing compensation to be paid to the administrative and maince e~-loyees <br />of the North Olmsted .Municipal Bus Litu3, repealing Ordinance Igo. 76-1#3 enacted <br />October 5, 1976, and declaring an emergency, enacted March 15, 1977, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Under OId Business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky discussed the condition of some of the parcels along the X-480 <br />right-of-way and asked Service Director or Public Works ComAiasianer how they <br />are progressing in cutting some of those weeds. President Limpert stated he <br />had put a question to Safety Director along those lines: Mr. Kobark stated <br />with respect to the removal of the remaining properties - ~ have been watching <br />those closer and have been asking the contractor to backfil2 as they move: since <br />Mr. Roharik hoe been working on it they have been Bong that: the Service Dept. <br />backfilled one property and billed the house mover: on the remaining properties <br />we are waiting for the State to enforce their band with Mural & Sons. Mr. Weldon <br />stated we are continuing to cut State maintained properties with private contractors; <br />the City cannot cut them - they do not have the manpower nor the ti.~mm; therefore, <br />we have to contract them out and pass the cost slang to the State. Discussion <br />ensued. <br />Mrs. Beringer asked Mr. Beaty if he had a problem area with respect to concrete <br />streets that are in need of repair. Lengthy discussion ensued, Mr. Weldon <br />explained that he and a foreman toured the City to look over as many concrete <br />streets as they could in time for the Streets 6 Drainage Committee: he explained <br />to the Committee that tbexe were sow streets that he had not gone over but will <br />go over them before the contract is let out; and submit another report on <br />additional streets that ~ has not been able to research yet. Mx. Beaty stated <br />he had no problem with the streets but would have Like to seen it gostpaned. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Sharpe asked if it would be passible to get a few fans in Council Chambers - <br />not only does Council meet in the Chambers but Planning Commission and a few other <br />boards also meet in Cb~ers. Mr. Wilamosky requested Ser vice Director to submit <br />cost for a few fans and requested Finance Director to give a recommendation as <br />to an appropriation to come up with a minimal amount to provide some circulation <br />for the Chambers. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee Meeting along <br />with the Safety Director, Chief Taylor and the Mayor on July 11, 1977, 7:00 P.M., <br />'city Hall; <br />2) scheduled a Legislation Committee Meeting on July 11, 1977, 7:34 P.M., City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />
