<br />Special Meeting of CouanQil was called to order by President Limpart at 7:3fl P.M.
<br />Mr. Logan moved to suspend tt~e rule to allow audience participation, seconded by
<br />Mr. Beaty. Affixmsti~ vptes Beaty, Boehmar, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, flilamosky.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Mra. Dietrich, Renta,edy Ridge Rd., addressed Council asking if there is aaflther way
<br />other than a tax levy to deal with the Rec Complex and gave her views. Discussion
<br />ensued.
<br />LBGISLATiOM:
<br />Ordinance loo. 78-96 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. An
<br />Ordinance providing far the submission to the electors of the City of Month Ol~asted
<br />of proposed amendments to the Charter of the City of Forth Oersted relating to the
<br />election of successors in the event of vacancies in the office of Mayor, Director
<br />of Law, Director of Pinnace amd Council, and declaring. an emergency. lit. Lam
<br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boar,
<br />Logan, Petrigac, Sarfagar, ifilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. Mo. 78-96 adopted.
<br />Resolution Mo. 98-1~? introduced by Mr. Logan was given its second reading. A
<br />Resolution declaring the necessity of an additional tax levy providing fxa~ds for
<br />the operation of the Recreation 1Jepartment and for the payment of interest and
<br />principal on bonds an<l notes heretofore or hereafter issued for the co~tstruction
<br />of recreational facilities of the City of l~rth Olmsted, and submitting the
<br />question of such additional tax levy to the electors.
<br />Resolution No. 78-101 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. A
<br />Resolution requesting the General Assembly of the State of Ohio to apoauor a bill
<br />to pass a constituti~eal amandt to earmark all state lottery revenues for
<br />education, as aawertded, and d+selaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for
<br />suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Wilamosky.
<br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, r, Lo-, f'etr4gac, Saringer, Wilamosky. Mfrs.
<br />Saringer moved far adoption, sscot~ded by Mr. Wilamosky. Mr. Beaty and Mr. Logan
<br />discussed the legislatic~ with Mre. Saringer.
