Council Minutes of 7-18-78 -7- <br />Under ATew Business: <br />Mr. Beaty discwsed the police pattolliag the four lane. drive is the Shopping <br />Center sad Mr. Besty states the Tics are there daily. Mt. Bsaty wauld like <br />to see the police patrol the residential attests anel give spssdng tickets on <br />those streets rather thaa- in the ~hvpping Cee~ter, stating r therefor. <br />Mr. Beaty also asked about the point sgstet~. Safety Director Metre discussed <br />same. <br />Mr. Wilamosky thanked the Mayor and Safety Director for their help and hours <br />put in regarding the probl+pss Mi.th t+ssp®et to the I-480 construction this past <br />week. <br />President Lampert asked Council what the feelings are with respect to pursuing <br />a hospital in North Olmsted, inasauch as there are probleas in 'F~estlake regarding <br />re:coning property for the hospital. Lengthy discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Sharpe requested Safety Director Petre to contact the officers of Society <br />National Bank to see whether they could control the traffic situation caused by <br />people in curb lane on Great I~orthsrn Blvd. turning into the teller window of <br />that bank; thereby cawing congsaion and backing up of traffic, especially on <br />Saturdays. Mrs. Sharpe has received complaints. Safety Director Petra will follow <br />through on request. <br />President Lampert sc~duled a Special Meeting of the Council on July 25, 1978, <br />7:30 P.M., City Hall, for cansideratioa of the following legislation: 78-9b, <br />78-100, 78-101, 78-102, 78-103 and 78-101. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adjournment, seconded by Mrs. Beringer. Affirmative vote: <br />Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 9:31 P.M. <br />%' ~~~ ~~ <br />ra T.
