I.engthp discussion ensued. <br />Ms. Kathy Klein, 5045 Coluaebia Rd., addressed Council with respect to I-480 and <br />a hole in front of her bouts and Wither a fake will be put up as soon as possible. <br />Discussion ensued. Mayor hill check out sad contact Ms. Klein tomorrow. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 78-81 introduced by I~r. Wilaspskp was given its third reading. A ,'` <br />Resolution authorising the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for F <br />various equipwent to be used in the Service Departm~et and authorising the Mayor <br />to contract for same, } declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, seeosuled by Mrs. Sharpe. Affira~rCiwe vote: Bestps Boehser, Y.ogan, <br />Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamaskp. Me~-tion carried. Res. No. 78-81 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 78-82 introduced by Mr. Wihamas~ky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the orgisaticne and composition of the Police Department: <br />salaries and various bes~fita for the members of the Police Department: various <br />rules, regulations and esrployee ruts and declaring Sn emergency, as amended. <br />Mr. Wilam stated ewgn thwvgh he does not agree with the ordinance because it <br />is not written as it was when he first introduced it he will au behalf of Finance <br />Committee, more for adoption. Mr. Wilep moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. <br />Logan. Affiam~ative vote: Beaty, r, Wigan, Petrigac. Negative vote: Beringer, <br />Sharpe, Wilamoskp. 4 Yeas - 3 Nays -Motion carried. Ord. A <br />Resolution authorising the Director' of P~lie Service to advertise for bide for <br />seven (7} mkt automobiles and authorising the Mayor to contract for same. Mr. <br />Boehmer aeov~ed fcr adoption, seconded by Mr. Logan. Mrs. Petrigac asked Service <br />Director Corriga~te if the cars wi11 include air conditioning and her concerns with <br />respect to cost. Service Director Corrigan gave his visas. Mr. Logan gave his <br />reasons why he feels the air conditioning is needed. Mr. Beaty di.acussed with <br />Service Director Carrigan the possibility, as was discussed is meeting, t'l~tt r-na of <br />these vehicles will be used in ttee Engixaeering Dept. and asked about the possibility <br />of a high chassis vehicle. Service Director Corrigan stated they era in favor of <br />having a utility vehicle for such purpose; also spick-up truck for Suer S~+steas. <br />Discussion ensued. Mr. Beaty ascertained that of the 7 vehicles, Service Director <br />Corrigan plans on purchasing epee high chassis vehicle for the 8nginaern$ Department <br />and one pick-up for the Sesser System. Mr. 8e~ety stated he does not see a great <br />need for the air conditioning but the do need the vehicles. Mrs. Petrigac stated <br />she is fear the vehicles but not for the air conditiong. Mr. Wilamoskp stag tee is <br />far air cditiosg for ia~rroved prod~tivity. Roll Call on Motion to Adopt: <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamaskp.
