Council Minutes of 6-20-78 _4_ <br />3) Dorothy Drive Resubdiviaion - Committee has no objections and Res. No. 78-86 <br />is on second reading tonight; <br />4) Robert Garold 3ubdivisicm - south side of Lorain across from Raachview Drive - <br />the creation of one lot from txo existing lots. Committee has no objections and <br />Res. No. 7$-87 is on second reading taiaight; <br />5) Kadar & Bartel dba Views i&nyds eases~t in the Vienna Weodn Subdivision <br />No. 1. Committee has no objectf~e Card. IW. 78-83 is on second ruing tonight; <br />6) Ord. No. 78-94 is oa first reading taynt - a reseniAg chaa~ge from Class A <br />High Rise to General Retail Businsss District - and C~ssittee-has no objections. <br />Letters, C~unications: <br />Clerk referred to letter from air. Ray Bvilsiaer regarding North Olmsted's p~rticipa- <br />tion in Southwest Youth Day in Beres. C.oemcl is in receipt of cagy of letter. <br />President Lampert stated he referred the comrnmication to the President of All <br />Scouts Day Camraittee for their consideration. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Mel Dieterich, Kennedy Ridge Road, addressed Council and Administration <br />regarding the condition of roads in the City, particularly Kennedy Ridge. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Gladys Zipp, 29658 Lorain Rd., addressed Council and Administration regarding <br />the building of two lakes in Bradley hoods. Mayor discussed same. <br />Mr. Dan Dufaia, 4449 Ranchview Drive, addressed Council with respect to the <br />possibility of the State fixing the berms an Broakpark Rd. l~yor diecussed same. <br />Mrs. Gemma Szabo, 30837 Bradley Road, addressed Council, requesting that the park <br />near her home at Barton & Bradley be sprayed for mosquitoes. Safety Director <br />Petre discussed what is being done, etc. Mrs. Szabo asked that the nt to <br />Ord. No. 78-82 be explained Mr. Beaty and Mr. Wiiamosky gave explanations. <br />President Lampert announced that Ozd. No. 78-73 has been removed from the agenda <br />and will be placed on agenda for Special Counncil Meeting on June 27, 1978. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 7$-68 introduced by 1$c. Wilaaiosky was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing the complement of the Recreation Center, affixing the <br />compensation to be paid the rs of the staff thereof, and eatabliing a schedule <br />of benefits for full-time emwployees, repealing Ord. No, 76-26. Mr. Wilamtrsky moved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilambsky. Lotion carried. Ord. No. 78-68 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 78-69 introduced by Mr. Wilasosky was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing the arganisatanal chart far the Engineering Department of <br />the Citp of North Olmsted, and setting forth the compensation to be paid employees <br />thereof, and repealing Ord. No. 77-143, enacted July 5, 197?, and declaring an <br />emergency, as Beaded. Mr. Wiiam~osky moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. Ord. No. 78-69 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 78-70 introduced by Mr. Wilaaaosky was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing the complement of the Recreation Department affixing the <br />
