Boehmer's meeting. <br />Rir. Petre took this opportunity to publicly camplemESnt hia secretary, Mrs. Ontolchik, <br />who is a verq vieble and impvrtant aesbsr of the Safety Da}artnent, aad h" <br />atteaded n?any Council Meetiags because of hitr civic interest snd to leep abreaet <br />of Council matters which add towird a better workfng relaticroship wl,t$#.n the <br />department. <br />^trs. Petrigac stated that due to the lateness of the hour, students freqvently have <br />to leave before they can partici.pate in the audience participation part of the <br />Council Meetings. President Linpert advised that in the fnture, Ccruncil slxould be <br />made aware of this and the agen;ta could be aseanded to allaw theen to partieipate <br />ear2ler in the evening. <br />Mrs. Petrigac comeated that the Architectural Rev3.ew Board's minutos show they <br />are asking for a ra3.se. Rav mueh are they making now and why are t'tty the only <br />ones paid? I,aar Direetor ata#ed that the real rationale on this ia one, thare is <br />only one person on the Aoard who tiaa to be a resideat sad tEro, they are basicsliy <br />professioaal people, ant for the input they give thaq should get paid. Believes <br />khey get $25 per meetiag. <br />Mrs. Petrigac stated that if there was no abjectiou, sa Environmntal Camittee <br />Meeting would be scheduled for after the Ho2idays to discuss Reaolution N4. 79-160 - <br />the buraing of leaves. <br />PreBident Limpert requestad Finance Conmittee Chairman [•lilancritkq and A+c!lministration <br />to consider raising mileago comnemation for City smplopees operating their owm? <br />vehicles. 14ayor adviaed thait this has been dimcu,ssed and was in the procees of <br />being done. <br />Mr. Beaty discussed Ordirunce No. 79-165, the interchange of public aervice per- <br />sonnel, equipment and ssrvics of the Public Service Department and Orrtinaace No. <br />79-16$, the incercbmge of police pereonnel, police equipment and poiiee serviees <br />of the Police Department. Mayor stated Chere is a Aoral obl.iprstian to help thdse <br />other conmunities as has been dane in the past. However, there was slways a prohlem <br />of whose inaurance covers who, compensation to be psid, etc., aad this legis3ation <br />spells it all out. <br />Mr. Aeaty moved for adjournmant, seconded by strs. Sharpe. Affirmstive voCe: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, tlilamosky.
