Notian carried. <br />Ordiuance No. 79-34 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Besty discussed with the Mayor and the City Engineer the funding for the eugineering <br />study as we11 se the resurfacing cast fax Dover Ceater Road and the use af County Motor <br />Vehicle $5.00 License Tax Fund. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Sharpe diecussed with the City Engineer the meny accidente at Brook Park Road and <br />Grest Northern Boulevard. ti" advised that the Enginseriag Department is lookin$ at <br />this situation and is waiting for better westher before anything can be done. <br />Mr. Logan asked the Service Mrector if he had the computer print-out on the fncidents <br />of accidents on Brvok Park Rattd ccmasri.ng the sectian where the ageed limit 1^" heen <br />reduced vs the same section privr to the epeed reduction. Wa$ advised ttat it woul-d <br />not be available until the end of March. <br />Mra. Petrigac asked the Safety Director to loctk at the childran crassing signs nsed in <br />Westlake when considering future purchases of evch si4pna for North Olested. The color <br />of signs used ia Westlake is reallq autstanding. Mr. Fetre agresd to da so. <br />Mrs. Petrigac aleo asked the Safetq Director if the North OlnOUated policemen could ask <br />the nerchants to shovel their wslts, as is done in Caatcn. Mr. Petr-e conionted that <br />North 4lmsted does not have enough police personnel ta do this. Nvrarcaus letters <br />have been seat out and a tremendous number of people have been contacted by his <br />office. It is heing pursued as iauch as possible. <br />Mr. Beaty discuseed with the Admiaistration the traffic situation oa Calumbia Road at <br />the intersection of Braok Park Road. 5uggested left turn arrnws on Columbia to <br />alieviate this problem.
