Item 1, amount shauZd read "$260.00"; <br />Page 3, Legielation, second item should read "Resolutioa No. 81-124". <br />President Limpert announced that Troop 712, apansored by ntembers of the Police <br />*Jepartment, were seated in the audience; aeked that they stand and be recagr?ized. <br />Council reco,a;nl,zed Troop 712. <br />iMayor Swietqniowslci reported: 1) Cengratulated neW Comunity Couacil Officers. <br />2) Board of Control met laet week and ac-zarded the bids for salt to the Inter-- <br />national Salt Conpany at $17.50 per ton; bids for cindera wA?:.t to Iroaklqn Cinders <br />at $4.50 per ton delivered to Service Yard. <br />3) In the absence of Service Director Corripan, who is recuperattng from minor <br />surgery, reported that the lesf pickup program will be coapleted I}ecember 2nd and <br />Service Department will resume patchiag holea aad cleauing ditches. <br />4) Aske Council'8 support for Resolution No. $1-140 whfch oppeaes the 65% rate in- <br />cresse for Ohio Bell Telephane and for Resolution No. 81-138 which urges the ahio <br />General Assenbly to supnott Senste Joint Resolution 33 calling a halt to the <br />nuclear arms race. <br />Law Director Gareau reported: 1) T•Tith respect to the RTA Case presently nendfng <br />in Federal Court, the Regionai Transit Autharity filed their anaWer snd alao a <br />motion for summary judgment which acaieed a number of isauee that the LaaR•rr Directoz <br />is in the nroceas of briefirtg. '?ill submit a brief in oppoeyitton ta their motion <br />no later than the 17th of Deeember. <br />2) Law Director has received a prvpased settlement with respect to The Riptit Place <br />law suit, dealinp with the drug paraphernalia lic2nsix?q ordinance.
