Boehmer was given its fisst reading. An <br />ordinance approving a Riemoranc`um of UnaersCaxtdtng with the American Federation of <br />State, Counfiq and Municipal e:aployees ia the Publfc Warks Division of the <br />Department of Pub1ic Servi.ce af the City af North Olmsted, and reprealing nrdin-- <br />ance No. 79-116, enacted Oetobea 2, 1979, and declaring an emergeacq. Mr. Boehmer <br />moved for suspensioa of rule requitinS three read3ngs, seconded bp Mr. Woerpel, <br />unanimously approved. tvir. ?iaehaer moved for adcrptis>n, secflnded bq Mr. N!cKaq, <br />unanimousZy approved. Ordlmmee No. 81-125 adopted. <br />Under Old Busiaess: <br />T°Ir. McKay moved Council recottsider 4rdinance "10. 81-110, seconded by Mr. Itoehmery <br />unanimously apprcved. Mr. McRay mov$d ta amerad Ordinance Na. 81-110, Section 1, <br />741.03 Prohibitions, (a) to resd "betw$en Che hours of 11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.'', <br />seconded by Mr. Boehmer, unseiausly approwed. McICay moved far susgension of rule <br />requiring three readings, seconded bp Mr. Boehmer, unatnimously approved. Mr. MeRay <br />moved for adoption, as amerded, aecanded bq Mr. Boehmer, unanitwuelq approved. <br />Ordinance "10. 81-110 adapted ae amended. <br />l'ir. Wilanwsky stated that it has been nine months since there has beett a seaasr rate <br />increase for the resident of North 01imted. Tahere does the City atand as far as <br />negotiations with the Cotmty for a rate adjuetment for those township ueers and <br />when will there be a complete report with respect to a new rate structure foY the <br />residents in the township. Is the Adnainistrstion looking for a retrvacctive rate <br />structure for the township? Mayor replied the report will be completed by the end <br />of the year; negotiatfans hav^e not been compl,eted9 ia ati11 meeting with the <br />Sanitary Engineer and the new Countq Aelmiaiettatar. Can discusa this further at <br />the Finance Committee Meeti.tag tamorrow night. <br />IyIrs. Saringer reported that she.has received some gaod comsaents in regard to the <br />"Edo 1urn on Red" sign caming Off of I-480. The letteriug on the sign with respect <br />to the time is not legible. Mayor adv#.sed he would take th3.s up with the City <br />Rngineer. Safety Director advised he had aiscussed it w3th the City Engineer and <br />it will be correctede <br />Under New Business: <br />t•ir. TaiiamDsky stated that on Monday evening, a community broacicast from North OZmsted <br />cable televiaion had all the candidates televised with the exception of Mr. Baehmer. <br />taould like the Mayor to fnvestigate and report baek to Council. Mr. Baehmer stated <br />that he was contacted by West Shore Cable, they explained whaC hagpened - it was <br />strictly an error; they apologized; Mr. Baehmex feels no areimosi.tp over it. Hawever, <br />Ptr. Wilamosky asked that a repart be given to Council by the iMaqor. <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislative Co?nittee Meeting for ATovenber 15th at 8 P.M. <br />Also, requested a street light on the last cal-de-sac on Arabour Drive if the <br />Safety Director could provide one ia the near future. r1rs. 5aringer slso aaked if <br />there waa any possibility of exCending the biks path to the east end of the City, <br />perhaps araund t'.eorgette.
