An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Cotttrol Map and File of the City of North Olmted to <br />provide for the installaticm o£ a"No Right Tura Oa Red" sign ^t the iatersection <br />of Clague Road aad the I-480 exit, whcih sign shall prohibit the turning on red <br />between the hours of 7a00 and 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 and 6:30 P.M. on weekdays onlq. <br />Ars. Saringer moved for suspensian of rule requiring three readinge, seconded by <br />14r. Nilamosky. Roll call oan motion: Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Logan, Mc.Kay, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Wilanosky. Negative vote: 14oerpel. 6 Ayes - 1 Naq -Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Logan moved to amend by striking the words "between the hours of 7e01.) and <br />9:00 A.M." An <br />ordinance granting certain pw?ers to the Di.rector of Publie Safety with respect <br />to the control of all electrical capacitars now located in the City of North <br />Olmsted which may be constitutit?g a hAZard to the general public, and declaring <br />an emergency. Referred to Envirornnenta?1 Control Cotoanittee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac reported on and resd from correspondence received by Mr. Dufa2a with <br />respect to the noise basriers to he erected in the City of North Olmsted. r?ayor <br />a?reed that the federal Qovernment irovides 90% femding and the State pic':.s up the <br />otzer 10% on state highway projects initiated by them. If the City of Nortii 0lmsted <br />-7ere to initiate noise barriezs, it wc>uld have to asaume all design aad engineering <br />costs cdhcih would amount to thousattde and thousands of dolZars. Mayor advised that he had not been notified as yet <br />as to the date they would be in the Grace Road area; when this information is <br />available, Tir. "etrigac stated that the City Engineer's report, Page Two, Item 3, in the <br />minutes of September 15, 1981, implied Chat since 1970, the City of North Olmsted <br />? had been paying for three Onio Bell Telephone drops in the City of Fairview Park. <br />Mrs. ?'etrigac s%ted the year should read "197511, not 1970. Finance Director Brockman <br />was asked to investigate records and report back to Council.
