Petrigac comented an the resignation of Mr. Donald Ledvina from the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals! feels he should be comended for the outstanding service he has <br />reniered while serving on this committee. Law Director advised he had already ma.rle <br />a notation to prepare a connendation for Mr. Ledvina. <br />ilrs. Petrigac discussed a U-Store-It building which has been rented to two different <br />bands for practise sessions. Neighbars are complainiag about the loud noise. <br />Polte Department has received many complainta. Is this a proger usage for suc?: <br />abuilding: what can be done Co alleviate the ccnaplsints; ordinances seem vagm. <br />Law Director advised that the Zoning Ca+de would allow this as a permftted use in a <br />geneVal retail buainess district; hawee¢r, just because it is a permitted uee does <br />not mean that they are permitted to invade the prfvacy of othetrs by makiag loud <br />noises. Police can enforce the CiEg's naise ordinance and the bands wiii probably <br />stop renting such a place for practise. <br />Mr. T-Iilamos?cy requested that he be invited to attend the Legislation Cammittee <br />rieetinQ when Ordiaance ?do. 81-105 is to be discussed. Will give to Safety Committee Chairman far coneideration.
