?w <br />/ <br />MI;dUTES OF THE SFECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTA OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 18, 1981 <br />Present: President Dewey H. Limpert, Councilmen Boehmer, MeKay, <br />Petrigac, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Safety Director EuAene Petre, Service <br />Director Joseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilmen Logan, Saringer, Woerpel. ? <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Limpert at 7:30 P.M. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of July 21, 1981, were approved. <br />In the absence of Mr. Logan, Chairman Building, Zoning and Developtnent Committee, <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council approve a facia sigu for Western Images, 30125 Lorain <br />Road, seconded by Mr. McKay, unanimous3y approved. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council approve the Great Northern Partnership's nroposed <br />improvement of Country Club Boulevard by the construction of a median strip and <br />landscaping of same for a distance of 1,000 feet, west of Great Northern Boulevard <br />to Great Narthern Boulevard, seconded by Mr. Boehmer, unanimouely approved. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council approve the Zergott storage building, 29857 Lorain Road, <br />seconded by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 8I-96 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance estab lishing the compensation to be paid to administrative and maintenance <br />personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 81-97 introduced by Mr. Wilaatosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the campensation to be paid to all hourly employees em- <br />ployed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 51-98 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance appropriating sixteen Chousand six hundred dollars ($16,600.00) from <br />the Camunity Development Block Grant Fund for the detsign and construction of a <br />pedestrian bridge on the east side of Stearns Road, and repealing Ordinance No. <br />81-85, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinanee No. 81-99 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance tranat'erring appropriations for current expenaca aad other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1981, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 81-100 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance approving .the sgglication of an asphalt concrete intermediate caurse (403) <br />and an asphalt concrete aurface cflurse (404) wiCh a ehoulder treatment on Stearns <br />Road between I-480 north construciton lianit and Lorain Road.
