Council Minutes fqr 10/I9`82 '7- <br />x4r. ?doerpel discussed the income tax issue, Issue Nusnber 25. In support of this <br />issue and in a sp3;rit of cooperaticn, Mr. GlaerTSe"L allowed his nanie to be comnected <br />with a loosely foi6med com3.ttee to promote Iasue 25 and looked to thp Maqor's office <br />and his Administra6tive Assiatat?t for some leadership. AC the initial meeting, there <br />was talk abaut ratoing funds and havtag at leaet a cauple af sailings to the entire <br />aommmiCy. Talked to <br />Mike McNulty at the Sun Herald and he in4icated the MaYor had not contactecl hia. <br />Mr. Logan had called Mr. McNulty to "t up am"tiag but had not reccntactad him to <br />finalize thia. Mx. Woergel is vesy disappointed that sams of t'he thiatp that w+ere <br />talked about back in August never cme tc gass. Will check with <br />Mr. Paul Gareau regarding th+e iaformetion asid s+ampleffi received from RITA and will <br />give Mr. Woerpel everqthing thmt was received. <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked if one af the faur members of Cauncil on the grevialin$ side would <br />move to recoasider Ordinance No. 82-85, atn ordinance asrending the ZOUUg Code of the <br />Citq be asending Sectivn 1174.10 sntitled "Regulaticns Regardimg the Znstallaticn of <br />Outdoor Telephone Pay Static3ns", of Ghapter 1174 entitled "Hef.ght an1 Ar'aa Regulations <br />£or Retail Bueiness Districts", which wa.s passed oa October S, 1982. No one on the <br />prevailing side chose to do so. <br />Under New Business: <br />rir. Logan advised Presideat Boshmr and all Meabers of Council tMat he wi1.l be out of <br />town from November 7th to 219t, isclusive, and therefore unable to attend any meetings• <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a LegisTative Commi.ttee Meeting for Mondap, November 8th, at <br />8 o'clock. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Pittame Comamd.tCee Meeting for Monday, October 25th, at <br />7:30 P.M. and a Streets and D9cainage Cotsitee Meetia8 fcr Monday, Navember 15th, <br />immediatelq follawing the Public Hearing at 8:00 F.M.
