In no way daes this affect the Citq's ordinance dealfng with drug <br />paraghernalia. <br />Safety Director Petre reported: 1) A report of the Safety Departmmt's city v+ehicles <br />has been forwarded to Transpcrtation Chaixman Logan, liating the fQ1.lowi,ng inf4naticm: <br />(a) vehicle aumber; (b) gear and maice of nehicle; (c) driver of vehicle; (tl) where the <br />vehicle is driven. <br />2) A stepped!-up ef#ort on the local level, regarding a Disaster Plan, resulted in a <br />meeting wiCh MNyor Swietynfawski, Chief Vast Kuren and Safety Directcr Petro oa May 13th. <br />3) Advertisemeata for bids an the ice resurfaeer and the tractor for the Recreation <br />Deparement are aut and the bid openfng will take place on May 26th, s?t naan, at Tawn Ha11. <br />4) In an effort to keep the res3.dents of Ncrrth Qlmated iaformed and active in the pre- <br />vention of crime, the North Olmsted Poliee Department has begun a segmnC ealled <br />"Po1iCe B2otter" on Channel 6 at 1I:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursdaps and 11:30 a.m, and <br />8 p.n. on Fzfdays of each weerk. <br />5) Congratulatioas to Jeff Maxshall, Director of the Ice Blossoms Show, at the Nflxth <br />Olmsted Recreation Center. Attendance this year wss 3,500 people and the show was <br />? outstanding. <br />Mr. Logan, Chairman Transportation Commi.ttee reported: 1) Comittee is in receipt of <br />the vehicle report mentioned by Mr. Petre and will consider it at the next covaittee <br />meeting to be announced under new bwsiaess.
