Would 2ike to meet with apprapriate comm3.ttee of <br />Council to discuss the water rates bei'ore presentiag legislatfon to Cauncil. <br />Since Safety Director Petre was not prasert at thi.s time, MBqor Swietpctiowski gave <br />the following Safety Department r"oxC: 1) A current list of street Iigttte has <br />been received from GEI aad a copp was foswarded to Finance Committee Qiairmen. <br />2) Four new police cars are in service ass well as a new fire pumper at Statian No. 1. <br />3) Board of Educstiact is prepared to enter into an agreement to furnish school buses <br />for the 1982 Sumer Rec Program; Qrdtnance No. 82-48 is on the agenda this evening. <br />Service Director Corrigaa r+aparted: 1} Citq is entering into the breieh pickup <br />seasan; would remfnd resident$ that if brush is nat properly bundled, it will not be <br />picked_up. <br />2) All the equipment suthariaed by Council has been delivered; primarilq is referring <br />to the six new trucks. In the naxt nouCh, wi.ll take delivery on the six new pickup <br />trucks; legislation for fuAding fs on tonight's agenda. <br />Finance Director Boyle reported: 1) Since last Council Meeting, has been invalved <br />with a poasible bond sale; le$is1at34n is on tonight's age.nda. There is legislatiaan <br />in Columbus now which would give the Citp tien years to go out on noCes aa QppQstd to <br />the present eight years. If this legl.slatioa passes, azid is retroactive, Finsnce <br />Director will take this i.ato consideration. <br />2) Report shewing the ending balances for the prior year, which must be filed by the <br />exid of March, have been filed wtth the Auditar of State. <br />3) Agproximately $1,400,000.00 is 3nvested in vari.oua banks in the area at 142.
