*SINUTES OF THE SPECIAI. .*:EEiING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTLD <br />10 FEBRUARY 9, 1982 <br />Present: Preaident Jamea Boehmer, Councilmem Bierman, Logan, McRay, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamoskq, Woerpel.. <br />Also preaent: Mayor Robert Swi,etyniovski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Fiuance <br />Directar E3ward Boyle, Service Directar Josaph Corr3gan, Ci,ty <br />Engineer Ronald Zurawski, Clerk of Council Plprence Campbell. <br />Meetir.g was called to order by Presidettt Boehmer at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mayor Swietyniowski, Law t?irector Gareau and Membere af Council di$cussed the lease <br />agreement, Exhfbie "A" of nzdiaance No. 82-13, between ABKQ Pxopertfes, Inc. and <br />the City. Mayor advised that the dete an Page One of the Zease agreement was <br />changed to read "9th day of Auguet, 1982" itiatead of "Ilth day of August, 19$2" and <br />on Exhibit "8", the line "One (1) Paint &>oth (DeVilbies)" and the line "F"l.feeen <br />(I5) Fire ExtiAguishera (Badger)" cverq crossed out. Mrs. Petrigac questioned the <br />insurance coverage; would it be cotBprehensive enough. <br />Mra. Petrigac noved to amend the a$enda to a11aw sudience participation, seconded <br />by Mr. Woorpel, unanimously agproved. <br />People addreasing Council: <br />Mrs. Pat 0`Malleq, 5s11 Bertcshire Drive, expressed her fear that the City's Service <br />Garage would aZso be moved to the Glavic lacation at some future date. <br />Mr. Narman Baxter, 5294 Willet Circle, espressed his concern that with the Sexvice <br />Garage beittg ia such a poor condition, eapecial],y at the north end, that it might <br />be moved to the Glavic lacaticra; where wcul.d the buses be parked; vould a fence <br />be erected ta screen the $rea. Kaqor Swietynicvski replied that mdd;y thia$s are <br />still to be considered; the Iarge bay on the east sfde of tbe buiiding would be <br />used for repaire; possiblq the west 8i,de area would be used for starage. There hae been na decision mad@ at <br />this time regarding a permanent aolution to Che problem. <br />Mrs. Marlene Orzechowsk.i, 5043 Evergreen Drive, asked if there were any EPA standards <br />regarding futnes. Magor answered "no". <br />Mr. Woerpel moved Council walve the twenty-four hqur wxitten notice to Council, <br />calling for tonight's Special Meeting, as we11 ae re£erral of Oxdiaance No. $2-13 <br />to comaittee, seconded by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 82-I3 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance ratifying aad confirming the enCsring iato af a lea$e by the Msyar with <br />AAO P'ropertiee, Inc. and Chrys2er Corparation for the temporazy 3esse of space <br />foz bua regair facilities, and dec3aring an emergency.
